oh
yeah fuck that
I battled a fake description on aliexpress once
well
"battled"
the seller kept furiously convincing me the power bank i bought was as good as the original
despite me proving them wrong several times
at worst I might have a 300Mbps wifi card to use instead
And offsell this inferior one
every message ended with "pls cancel dispute"
of course I got my money back in the end but that seller was fighting for their dorrar pretty hard
gj now he wont be able to eat for a month
maybe he shouldn't have claimed he's selling a "100% original genuine xiaomi power bank"
99% original
I don't know if it's still the case, but testing whether you have a real xiaomi power bank was super easy
start charging the power bank and connect a device you want to recharge
originals have pass through charging which charges the battery and the connected device
fakes don't
and this reminds me that I'm still salty that the 20k mAh version doesn't use USB C instead of micro USB
seems like they're getting rid of the micro usb ones for the type C versions now

<:autism:327926282639769610>
and I think the second version is p new
but "second versions" of their older models all have usb C
and they're older than the 20 000
I have no proof of this tho
10 minutes until those rock bottom Mi6 and OnePlus 5 prices
but still, if they release a new 20000 model with usb C input, I'm in
probably be gone instantly tho
hm
does a chink bought OP5 have chinese ROMs installed?
I know that was the case with OP3/OP3T
No idea, not been following OP5
perfectly happy with my OP3T, the OP5 seems plagued by stupid decisions
display mounted upside down = jelly effect
recordings have stereo switched etc
yeah I saw the bad reviews, seems like they're slippin'
sound can be fixed via an update I'm sure, but the screen...
idk, original OPO had issues, OP2 had issues
OP3/3T seem like the holy grails
the "we're a small company" excuse doesn't cut it anymore
