2017-09-19 10:30:28 UTC

2017-09-19 10:39:26 UTC

"GNU + a few commits from a Finnish dude"

2017-09-19 10:40:40 UTC

"GNU (with small commits added from a Finnish student)"

I will post the answer in <#189467888657235970>

2017-09-19 10:54:21 UTC

@porco but i use superior alpine linux

2017-09-19 10:54:28 UTC

busybox + linux

2017-09-19 10:54:46 UTC

I use mostly OpenBSD

2017-09-19 10:54:48 UTC

so...

2017-09-19 11:22:28 UTC

@Jignx get a Bluetooth gamepad, can use it handheld with your smartphone and standalone with computer/laptop/tablet/whatever

2017-09-19 11:22:51 UTC

And much cheaper than getting a knockoff 3ds for two times the price

2017-09-19 11:25:08 UTC

oh! or do what I'm doing!
buy two SNES controllers from ebay for 8$ shipped, clean them, retrobrite them, buy a 3$ AtMega32U4, two SNES extension cables (2.90$), 1 FTDI adapter, 1 HC-05 bluetooth module (3.50$ total), a bunch of cables and make a USB/Bluetooth adapter for SNES controllers!

2017-09-19 11:27:59 UTC

@porco how is the software support? What distro?

2017-09-19 11:28:34 UTC

"openBSD"

2017-09-19 11:28:45 UTC

Basically every binary you will ever run is either self-compiled or comes from Theo de Raadt's basement

2017-09-19 11:28:59 UTC

there are no distros

2017-09-19 11:29:49 UTC

Also most "GNU + Some other contributions" stuff is ported or needs very minor changes to run, as long as systemd is not a dependency

2017-09-19 11:30:36 UTC

the userland / core-utils usually perform better than GNU but have less features

2017-09-19 11:30:50 UTC

that's it

2017-09-19 11:31:05 UTC

Basically feels like GNU / Linux before Ubuntu existed

2017-09-19 11:37:58 UTC

@Deleted User any recommendations

2017-09-19 11:38:03 UTC

there's so many chink bluetooth

2017-09-19 11:45:30 UTC

tbh don't go with typical chink bluetooth controller
