That's interesting. The thing that would bother me most is shops not open on weekends. What about places like cafes or restaurants?

no they are open. Also shops in the mainstation and at the airport are open on Sundays

usually you see all expats who aren't able to plan for closed weekends, collecting around the airport every Sunday

so you don't starve and shit, but getting stuff on a weekend is harder and mostly more expensive
