@Matthew I bought my wave from an eBay store in America because it was cheaper even with customs
years ago, don't have proof of purchase anymore. I just got in contact with the company that does warranty service in my country and they told me to send it in
they did say it could longer for the warranty thing to be done without proof of purchase (they need to validate that it's a legit Leatherman)
but I had a new tool in under a week

the tool really isn't that heavy, it's a standard package
