arduino isn't original in the first place

you're looking for an AtMega328P board (for the ""uno clone"")

the difference between them and ""legit"" arduino is that they cheapened out on the usb/serial chip which is just a simple CH340? chip instead of another AtMega MCU

you can get also a ""arduino micro"" clone, look for AtMega32U4 boards

with CH340 you cannot change USB purposes (always serial adapter), so any tutorial that says how to make your ardueno into a usb controller won't work with them (but will with 32U4 as it has it integrated in the chip)
