2017-12-02 11:12:47 UTC

the Boston bomber deal

2017-12-02 11:16:33 UTC

I'd not buy such combinations

2017-12-02 11:17:14 UTC

better get a rice cooker and a steamer in two different devices

2017-12-02 11:17:29 UTC

combined devices usually don't steam well

2017-12-02 11:17:53 UTC

Also don't forget to grow onions in a flowerpot

2017-12-02 11:18:13 UTC

I'm off for a few hours, posted most of today's deals in <#287939846662651906>

2017-12-02 11:18:19 UTC

talk soon lads

2017-12-02 11:21:14 UTC

what the heck is that socket

2017-12-02 11:21:36 UTC

Swiss superior socket

2017-12-02 11:22:39 UTC

i know it's not optimal

2017-12-02 11:22:47 UTC

however, given limited space, i think i'm pretty well off

2017-12-02 11:26:58 UTC

swiss socket is wierd

2017-12-02 11:28:24 UTC

the socket itself is totally fine, problem is that most electronics have either EU or US socket and no Swiss socket option unless you buy mainstream expensive brands

2017-12-02 11:28:34 UTC

You don't need more than a 3L rice cooker

2017-12-02 11:28:58 UTC

Anything above that is more for restaurants

2017-12-02 11:29:04 UTC

@porco the space between the main 2 "pins" are the same as EU no ?

2017-12-02 11:29:11 UTC

There is only a wierd ground

2017-12-02 11:29:52 UTC

So you end up with a lot of bulky adapters which cover two sockets. yes ungrounded is compatible most of the cases. sometimes the plastic around the plug is too thick though

2017-12-02 11:30:14 UTC

but I never had a case where I couldn't just cut off a bit of the plug plastic to make it fit

2017-12-02 11:32:36 UTC

Yeah getting it

2017-12-02 11:32:53 UTC

In France I have the standart EU plugs so no issues

2017-12-02 11:33:30 UTC

Only thing we are in 220v so its a problem for NTSC equipment (like japanese consoles)

2017-12-02 11:34:49 UTC

I had to get a few 110V adapter for all my girlfriend's electronics when she moved here and never had issues

2017-12-02 11:35:11 UTC

some are running 24/7 since 4 years now

2017-12-02 11:35:40 UTC

Yeah I have 1 or 2 for my Saturn and Famicom

2017-12-02 11:35:53 UTC

But its a waste of 15€

2017-12-02 11:36:16 UTC

that's cheap, I paid 50 CHF locally

2017-12-02 11:53:58 UTC

multicookers are the best

2017-12-02 12:07:24 UTC

2017-12-02 12:07:49 UTC

2017-12-02 12:07:52 UTC

2017-12-02 12:08:08 UTC
