btw this is the shitty OEM cable it is replacing so

i have to mention the braid might get a little loose at the tip connecting to the device (hence why i mentioned it might be a meme). already happened with the apple ugreen cable but other than that i am not overly concerned about structural failure at the tips, since they are from aluminium (will have to go thorough quite some cyles before failure as compared to plastic, and it also acts as a heatsink.) Also the braid does provide ridigity to the cable so its harder to damage by bending

The apple cable i have used it for 2 months so there is that under heavy duty conditions*

the cable reverting to slow charging after some time sounds really weird though

like fast charging should work with any cable unless your cable gauge to lenght is not adequate
