time to open another ticket
This arrived today
due to the large size I'm gonna assume it's for your gf

I actually had it shipped to a buddy down in florida. It's for HIS gf
Got my Xiaomeme Mix 2, first chinkshit order, kinda surprised it didn't get stolen by customs given that the chinks gave it a value of $100 on the declaration
Lmoa
I
Yes
I'm prolly buying an A1
The V20 is exactly what I've always been looking for in terms of hardware
But the software is too fucky
And there's no support for it at all
Ah yeah I've always disliked LG's skin
MIUI doesn't seem the best either but it'll do until I can get it unlocked
@Spaghetti Noodles what are your opinions on the Mix 2?
Looks fantastic, MIUI is an obvious rip off of iOS but whatever I'll live for a bit
Haven't used it long enough for anything further than that tbh
Although the Mi Unlock website just redirects me to the Mi Forums trying to get me to set a Nickname even though I have in my account settings
So idk what's going on there
@Sdeck37 dw I am now
You can just ignore the whole "Mi suite" all together, you need nothing out of it.
Besides that I think miui is pretty OK for everyday use
Yeah I like how it handles stuff like the status bar better than AOSP
Nice and small
Some of the water TouchWiz esque sounds are something I haven't heard in ages
Which version does the mix run at now?
9.2.3.0
Still 7.1.1 on the non dev
Seems good
Imo there was lot of fuckery going with apps leaving in background /reopen them later before 9.1
Well I just got unlocking permission within about 10 minutes
That was unexpected
I used MIUI on the RN3P all the time and I'm also using it on the mi mix 2 now. Except for some fuck ups with USB debugging and installing apps via USB (which is necessary if you develop one), it's fine. Funny enough those problems only occur on the mi mix 2, the RN3P was just fine for dev
That said, I'm still developing on the RN3P
Also camera2 API would be nice on MIUI
@Spaghetti Noodles still need to wait 72hrs between binding your Mi account to the phone and unlocking the bootloader though
You mean that they keep you hostage for 72 hours in hopes of private data
Lol Tervy I was thinking about it last night actually
I reckon it's to try and get people to give MIUI a chance
