i have a timbuk2 bag which i got as a present

worth every penny

i have handled some timbuks and i have to say that they are indeed good but not 120-160 good

but indeed 50-80 good

one thing i wish messengerbag manufactuers would start adding to their bags = reflecting materials

goddamit i hate tuning brand new bags just so i dont die on dark evenings or foggy mornings

and specialy when it comes to timbuks they rarely have proper sized laptop pockets on their average models

reflective materials (dont even need to fill standards just something there ffs) dont cost that much even higher quality ones

its more the problem of designing so it fits than the material/implementation cost

if nothing make fucking velcro patch on ends and on the front cover and give reflective patches with it

and have your company logo on said patches

current other options are reflective threads (quite easy to apply on most of the products

and some vinyl stuff too (either sewn or ironed on if end-user does it)

there is some reflective fabrics and such too but their implementation on average bags and clothes is always harder due "designers"

so far i have used reflective patches myself

easies to apply and if i bother with velcro i can always have different styles of stuff there
