OOO
The mistake here is that there isn't a particulate filter on the respirator
Alright fair enough
@Dr.Cocopuff | KY People use them incase they get gassed by police, or they get pepper sprayed in the face.
you need a particulate filter for filtering out OC spray
OV only neutralizes CN and CS gas
or stink chemicals
Well shit.
Yeah but with the goggles though, need those.
So he would need the yellow label?
Olive/Magenta
Can we use magneta stuff?
Goggles are important too.
When I was in c-ville I handed out tons of them, and I saw guys that I gave them too get sprayed because they didn't wear them.
magenta is just the particulate element
btw these go bad after you open up the pack and let them sit for a few months
the particulate part lasts indefinitely
@MͭAͤJͨOͪṘ I assume it would be if you could use it in a nuclear fallout
This is the one I have. Is it any good?
it filters out OC spray
and fallout
and germs
won't do anything for tear gas
or anything that stinks
@MͭAͤJͨOͪṘ What mask COULD you use for tear-gas?
Or any other chemical based warfare?
ok. Well I did buy it for exploring the old asylum, so it served its purpose
If you don't know what will be used, buy a Olive/Magenta filter like the one I posted
Urbexing nationalism
@Hadrian If you are going into an abandoned building you are going to need something that will filter-out stuff like black mold and asbestos.
although
you might be better off with a ABEKP type filter
P100 is supposed to be used for asbestos
Well it depends on what kind of building you are going to, and how old the building is.
@Hadrian When was it abandoned?
6099 model is similar to the standard issue CBRN filters that come with gas masks for military
And when was it built?
Different buildings opened in different times
