Demoting pending review of the situation is probably the wisest response. IMO, bringing up the possibility of schism when leadership was still deciding how to handle the awkward situation is inappropriate. Even just mentioning that it may be necessary.

I think that would be the best decision. Allowing someone with that sort of issue is different from the BigKK thing only in degree. At the same time, from my talks with him he's a good guy and leaving him out in the cold would be undesirable.

Yeah. We were aware that the Jones situation was a potentially problematic one. But given the full lifecycle, I can't help but feel that he latched onto it as his excuse after he failed to get traction with his previous attempt to instigate a revolt over having female officers.

I'll just throw in my two cents here, for what it's worth, just so I can have the peace of mind of having had my say on the matter. Obviously I don't know the whole situation and history with Colton, but at Shelbyville he was extremely welcoming to me right away. He's a large part of why I decided to commit to joining TWP at/after the rally. If there have been other issues and it's a necessity, then do what has to be done and I'll support y'all 100%, but it would be a damn crying shame if I could no longer call him comrade
