To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Italian military. The backstabbing is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical diplomacy most of the battle will go over a typical soldier's head. There's also Badoglio's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Venetian literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these retreat, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about WAR. As a consequence people who dislike Italian military truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Mussolini's existencial catchphrase "VINCERE E VINCEREMO" which itself is a cryptic reference to D'Annunzio's Italian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Cadorna's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. Ha, read the David Tate article. He is just pretty much correlating the reactionaries, degenerates, and hollywood types with the movement. I think that is what Tyler was trying to say, too.

This is a perfect perspective on things, imo.

TWP is for the Cause, but we are our own unique Movement, none others share our "progression in a particular direction".

All I will say is that they are united with us in our defense of the Cause, but they are not the same Movement. TWP is 100% unique in our stance and, most importantly, our strategy and goals.

Sorry if I offended u with my comments on AW...I try not to get into movement drama, or talking bad about groups. I think most groups serve a purpose in our overarching goals. There are a few groups that I absolutely hate, but I dont know enough about AW to put them on that list. I just get paranoid that there are a lot of feds either in it, or watching them, due to their history.

But it is what it is. I wont countersignal y'all anymore. I hope everyone who takes an honest stand for the Cause is successful.

There's a lot of complexity to it, but the biggest split in the movement is between reactionary conservatives who wish to market nationalism to the masses and national socialists who intend to lead the people with a vanguardist approach.

I hadn't thought about things like that. Phrased that way I suppose I can see the movement being "dead". I tend to work along the same mindset. The entire reason I do what I do, obsessively research and basically live as an autist is because of my Children.
