You need to set up an email list. Even if it's a sock email. They can't ban you from the email system. Say what you want about Cantwell, but he has always been right about how you need something that's decentralized. When something is centralized it has the option of removing you.

They literally can't shutdown IRC

Have everyone set up a protonmail, tutanota, and one other email account. That way if soemthing gets banned you can tell everyone where to go.
