I can't draw, period

2019-06-21 17:23:03 UTC

I still do it every now and then

2019-06-21 17:23:08 UTC

Because it's ||fun||

2019-06-21 17:23:45 UTC

same with me and playing my guitar

2019-06-21 17:23:47 UTC
2019-06-21 17:24:37 UTC

I really like the distortion on the rythm guitar

2019-06-21 17:24:44 UTC

Do you use an amp or is it a digital filter?

2019-06-21 17:25:34 UTC

i've got a really good preamp and that's it, it's all amp/cabinet/guitar pedal sims

2019-06-21 17:25:41 UTC

i don't even own a guitar/bass amp

2019-06-21 17:25:43 UTC

<:haha:318675605233336330>

2019-06-21 17:26:14 UTC

I've been using the same amp for like 8 or 9 years now

2019-06-21 17:26:33 UTC

i always record clean signal and then use real-time effects to sculpt the sound

2019-06-21 17:26:55 UTC

that will change as i bought 2 guitar pedals recently, they're currently en route

2019-06-21 17:27:00 UTC

Oof nice

2019-06-21 17:27:07 UTC

dod carcosa and dod rubberneck

2019-06-21 17:27:36 UTC

If I had a shit ton of money I'd buy the one this guy is using

2019-06-21 17:27:45 UTC

that amp is p good, my colleague has one back in poland

2019-06-21 17:27:56 UTC

i mean you know it's no ac30

2019-06-21 17:27:59 UTC

<:haha:318675605233336330>

2019-06-21 17:28:32 UTC

Ye kek

2019-06-21 17:28:50 UTC

I bought it back when I was looking to upgrade from my shitty tiny amp that came with my first guitar in a 100€ package <:haha:318675605233336330>

2019-06-21 17:30:08 UTC

i need to get rid of my HARLEY-BENTON strat

2019-06-21 17:30:25 UTC

My nephew got one of those this year kek

2019-06-21 17:30:42 UTC

It's a great first guitar but if you stick with the hobby it's definitely required to upgrade

2019-06-21 17:31:20 UTC

my first guitar, it's really not too bad for the price (certainly better than entry-level gear by more esteemed companies) but i'd have to, like, swap the pick-ups and the tuners

2019-06-21 17:31:35 UTC

it's a strat, so single-coil pickups - no distortion for you

2019-06-21 17:32:11 UTC

Eh

2019-06-21 17:32:17 UTC

but it's not worth the effort tbh

2019-06-21 17:32:23 UTC

Single coils can have good distortion but it really depends on what kind of distortion you're looking for

2019-06-21 17:32:31 UTC

not just crunch

2019-06-21 17:32:38 UTC

i want the BWWWW kind of distortion

2019-06-21 17:32:55 UTC

that VVVVVV overdrive, you know what i mean

2019-06-21 17:33:08 UTC

anyway i've got a guitar with two humbuckers now

2019-06-21 17:33:17 UTC

That really fucking heavy, chugging overdrive kind of distrotion?

2019-06-21 17:33:22 UTC

Yeah for that you need humbuckers

2019-06-21 17:34:12 UTC

I'm currently learning this and oof

2019-06-21 17:34:29 UTC

The amount of quick downstrokes is hard to get used to
