IU=international unjts

2018-02-02 14:29:37 UTC

It's a way of measuring the contwnt

2018-02-02 14:29:42 UTC

Idk how to measure that

2018-02-02 14:29:54 UTC

But I take it anyways

2018-02-02 14:29:58 UTC

Your supplement should say how much a capsule is

2018-02-02 14:30:08 UTC

I think it’s just in mg

2018-02-02 14:30:51 UTC

I believe it's the same. Take 10,000 mg of vd

2018-02-02 14:31:04 UTC

@Hand Banana There's a guy up in Canada I watch who goes camping in -30 with like a sleeping bag, a tarp, and an axe. The more experience you have, the easier it is to get away with taking less gear. Tent stakes, for example are a few grams to maybe an ounce. That's like nothing, but ounces equal pounds, pounds equal pain especially for something so completely unnecessary as a tent stake (though tents in general aren't exactly necessary either). You can carve them out of a stick, or make a duff button, or a bunch of other stuff

2018-02-02 14:31:09 UTC

Couple that with 1000mg of a magnesium supplement

2018-02-02 14:31:14 UTC

Your body can only process 1,000 mg at a time

2018-02-02 14:31:21 UTC

Correct.

2018-02-02 14:31:25 UTC

Any more is overkill

2018-02-02 14:31:29 UTC

Potentially bad

2018-02-02 14:31:41 UTC

There is no evidence to support that

2018-02-02 14:31:43 UTC

I wouldn't say bad, just useless

2018-02-02 14:31:47 UTC

Ah

2018-02-02 14:31:47 UTC

You'll piss out the extra

2018-02-02 14:31:51 UTC

If you're talking about vd

2018-02-02 14:31:51 UTC

Ok cool

2018-02-02 14:31:55 UTC

I piss a lot

2018-02-02 14:32:02 UTC

Drink lots and lots of water

2018-02-02 14:32:08 UTC

water is good

2018-02-02 14:32:27 UTC

Yeah man I go often. Water has been good to me.

2018-02-02 14:32:32 UTC

@FashyGoy1488 10,000IU is what is used to treat inflammatory conditions or chronic vitamin D deficiency

2018-02-02 14:32:35 UTC

Pissing out the toxins

2018-02-02 14:33:16 UTC

It is usually standard protocol for dealing with a shortage, and there has never been shown any bad effects

2018-02-02 14:33:25 UTC

Nice

2018-02-02 14:33:32 UTC

It is what I recommend my inflamed patients to take

2018-02-02 14:33:35 UTC

I saw vitamin b everywhere

2018-02-02 14:33:39 UTC

Never saw anyone suggest d

2018-02-02 14:33:45 UTC

Where did you see that?

2018-02-02 14:33:53 UTC

Medical School

2018-02-02 14:34:01 UTC

I just take it in my multivitamin

2018-02-02 14:34:03 UTC

I wouldn't recommend a beginner try to do bushcraft or ultralight though

2018-02-02 14:35:17 UTC

@FashyGoy1488 Multivitamins are great for maintenance, but If you have symptoms, superdosing on specific vitamins is better.

2018-02-02 14:35:24 UTC

Right

2018-02-02 14:35:29 UTC

And you my friend seem to have symptoms

2018-02-02 14:35:41 UTC

I take extra b, l Theanine, and GABa

2018-02-02 14:35:44 UTC

Up north, vitamin D is a pretty big deal in winter. I had to take 50k IU for like 12 weeks to catch back up to a good level

2018-02-02 14:35:47 UTC

On top of the multi

2018-02-02 14:36:10 UTC

Kelp too
