if you do your job good your boss may give you a raise

Depends on the job, a lot of bosses work more

And the boss owns the business and directs a lot of it

like who to hire and makes sure they do well in the job

Most of the bosses don't even own the business they are just managers

The real owners don't even go

That's what happens with supermarkets as an easy example

Most of the owners just hire someone to do the for them too

I disagree, the bosses still do have to work hard. Especially making sure the manager is doing well too

aswell as the business

They just have to monitor that

and make sure they do their job

And they can hire people for that

and hire employees

Or even machines

aswell it also depends on the job and businesses

The managers themselves hire people

some businesses require more than that

the boss hires the managers aswell as others

The owners mostly don't have to do fuck all

Just roll the money in

it depends on the business too

Pay for some managers and people who are experts on hiring

Monitor them sometimes

Experts on hiring wont always be doing a good job

Then the managers will report

Nor would your business always be doing a good job

Or machines

The owner can monitor the activity from a simple computer device

He doesn't even have to go out of his/her bad

Again, depends on the business

Most business specially in large scale works like that
