you know recently I have struggled with myself wether I liked our democracy or not

but I came to terms with myself

I was a monarchist for a pretty long time lol

but then I realized that merkel *is* a monarch

I guess you could call me a centrist

tbh monarchies aren't really faster, where it's needed democracies are as fast, like in the military we have a chain of command and everything

democracies are very stable and able to utillize the country's power efficiently

yea but if you compare germany with like china the chinese can plan more than 4years ahead becasue they dont need to worry over who wins the election and can act accordingly

yeah I know about China

but I'm not sure if they will ever achieve anything close to the German standards of living tbh...

they are working on it

china has ben hauling ass the last couple years

but thats what I noticed too, them democracy just have the highest living standards

cant be a coincidence

but the thought that made me actually 'like' our system was that we combine democracy, oligarchy and monarchy all in one system

democratic decision process might seem inefficient and slow but in the end it ensures moderacy

you can't come up with some idiotic radical idea and push it easily in democracy

even prime ministers can't really do that

division of power is an ingenious invention imo

for me its one of those basic foundations

of my political ideology

something non negotionable
