Hitler had no intentions of war with Western Europe

We have several peace overtures from Germany during that time

That include absolute withdrawal from Western Europe with the exception of German colonies and Alsace Lorraine

We are however a colonial nation. We should be proud of our European roots, just as the Romans were proud of their Trojan roots
