You can Technically own a tank in the US. The cannon has to be drilled before import. But APCs, like Bradley's and old british ferret scout cars are fairly common armor for collectors of such things.
There was an import company that had russian apcs at affordable prices but shipping, paperwork, and demill process make them expensive.

@NovaSoldier not much. A breech loading, black powder, large bore rifle would be sick in a tank. Wont be an explosive hit, but a 5 to 10ib projectile would still fuck shit up. Breech loading canister shot would be killer also. Civil war era parrot rifles (rifled cannons) had impressive capabilities.
