So some pcs will ride super tight to the body, mine for example, but with ceramic plates its obvious. If i use steel plates its slimmer but its still extra armor and somewhat visible

Plates again is multi sided protectionv longevity. Cerams are stronger and lighter but can take fewer hits, steel is heavy, you have spall but you can get lit the fuck up.
