@thedarkness05 dont sell yourself short man. What doesn't intellectual mean in today's world anyways

2020-01-02 19:51:32 UTC

Does*

2020-01-02 19:52:16 UTC

Not selling myself short. I just hate to be lumped in with the current academia educated who only accel and regurgitation rather than critical thinking. Besides, as we keep touching on, I'll be that renaissance man

2020-01-02 19:53:52 UTC

At this point the only degrees that are worth getting ultra indebt(if you live in the us) are, medicine, maths, physics, chemistry, architects and engineering

2020-01-02 19:54:25 UTC

Lmao I got none

2020-01-02 19:54:48 UTC

@NovaSoldier trades too.

2020-01-02 19:54:48 UTC

although I didn't put myself too in debt, I was at least smart in that regard

2020-01-02 19:55:15 UTC

Trades?

2020-01-02 19:55:25 UTC

Like commercial or marketing?

2020-01-02 19:55:34 UTC

@NovaSoldier no like welding and woodworking

2020-01-02 19:55:36 UTC

@NovaSoldier hands on work

2020-01-02 19:55:45 UTC

Ahh

2020-01-02 19:55:50 UTC

Like being a porn actor

2020-01-02 19:55:59 UTC

But do you need a degree for that?

2020-01-02 19:56:00 UTC

Or retard wrangler

2020-01-02 19:56:44 UTC

@NovaSoldier no but you *do* have to go to school [ in some places, anyway ] and it *can* put you in debt, but it *will* pay off **doubly** in so many forms

2020-01-02 19:57:17 UTC

Bro here in europe we have it so good tbh

2020-01-02 19:57:36 UTC

I pay for a year 2.4k

2020-01-02 19:57:58 UTC

I put trades in a different category. While you do need schooling, it is a practical field and not academic. I imagine it also caters to a different learning set. Like some people can hear/read while others need hands on

2020-01-02 19:59:54 UTC
2020-01-02 19:59:57 UTC

Or a janitor on Epstein island

2020-01-02 20:00:26 UTC

@slvr_neo<:1937_jerry:554426006820093964>

2020-01-02 20:00:51 UTC

Retard wrangler sounds fun af

2020-01-02 20:01:06 UTC

@thedarkness05 truth - I just thought we were talking about the schooling / degrees / certification that's worth the payout

2020-01-02 20:01:06 UTC

Not for you @mcguyver123

2020-01-02 20:01:07 UTC

@mcguyver123 lol that's the job we already do

2020-01-02 20:01:35 UTC

*crying*

2020-01-02 20:01:51 UTC

once again different categories. With a bachelor's degree there's no gaurantee you get a good paying job. With trades you're almost gauranteed

2020-01-02 20:01:53 UTC

@mcguyver123 yeah cry whiteboy

2020-01-02 20:02:36 UTC

@thedarkness05 bingo. And honestly alot of middle management jobs are going away

2020-01-02 20:03:35 UTC

If I didnt need my degree for my career path, I wouldn't have gone. Spent a whole bunch of time being taught, but I dont think I learned a damn thing

2020-01-02 20:03:44 UTC

@thedarkness05 but isn't that less about the schooling and more about the job market?

2020-01-02 20:04:13 UTC

What fuckin job exists for a gender studies degree?

2020-01-02 20:04:24 UTC

man they thought a somethin. . .

2020-01-02 20:04:38 UTC
2020-01-02 20:04:50 UTC

2020-01-02 20:04:51 UTC

2020-01-02 20:05:32 UTC
