I put trades in a different category. While you do need schooling, it is a practical field and not academic. I imagine it also caters to a different learning set. Like some people can hear/read while others need hands on

now the two majors I actually hold I knew walking in I probably wouldn't need them for a career. Or at least not stand out. I got degrees in Criminal Justice and Political science
