Alright gents. Did you all grow up with a resentment/distrust of the government or did it slowly come on these recent years?

For me it's the latter; I voted during the elections and trusted my representatives to uphold my rights. As time has shown here recently I can no longer trust any elected official to act within the proper interests of their constituents

I worked in intelligence as an off the books contractor. I travelled in some circles with people I'd rather not ever remember, and completely lost trust in the people in the government.

Eventually ended up working with a hacktivists group shutting down computer networks fo terrorist cells in Syria and Iraq, also Afghanistan, and orchestrating mass demonstrations in DC. Then the next year, everyone lost interest and was content with being basement dwellers wearing guy fawkes masks while browsing shit tier tor websites so I moved on

Found out the US government was padding its kill count in drone strikes with civilian casualties to make it look like the number of terrorists being neutralized was going up and the civilian death count was going down even though they were bombing hospitals and homes

Just to be clear with you guys, I wasn't some top tier fucker with security clearance and shit like that, this was like really off grid, we don't even know who the fuck you are type shit.
