Oof

2019-09-05 02:05:47 UTC

Alright opinion time.

2019-09-05 02:05:54 UTC

Need an NYS legal rifle.

2019-09-05 02:06:05 UTC

M14. Good option bad option

2019-09-05 02:07:05 UTC

For your first rifle or firearm in general?

2019-09-05 02:08:58 UTC

M14s are big and heavier than a mandingo cock, but they're relatively reliable from what I've been told

2019-09-05 02:09:27 UTC

I got babeh guns

2019-09-05 02:10:02 UTC

I mean you can break it down essentially

2019-09-05 02:10:17 UTC

To for lighter parts and what not

2019-09-05 02:10:24 UTC

Go*

2019-09-05 02:12:02 UTC

@Foxhound oof, you have to tip toe around NY too? Nice to know others out there know the pain of the unSAFE act

2019-09-05 02:12:18 UTC

I've have about 9 to 10 firearms three pistols, two twelve gauges, a .223 , a Carcano from WW2, a crossbow, .45 70 and a Henry repeater 30 30

2019-09-05 02:12:24 UTC

@TheButcherHooks you know the answer to that one. I've got a 12ga I rock.

2019-09-05 02:12:58 UTC

Have you seen them survival rifles?!

2019-09-05 02:13:04 UTC

I want something semi auto with decent stopping power.

2019-09-05 02:13:05 UTC

@Foxhound I know XD

2019-09-05 02:13:15 UTC

The ones that fire like 18 different cartridges?

2019-09-05 02:14:07 UTC

.223 is 5.56mm just in caliber it's a decent start unless you want something that goes through maybe four guys

2019-09-05 02:15:34 UTC

This is what I want

2019-09-05 02:16:44 UTC

I have one, it's nice. Although finding mags for it locally is a pain

2019-09-05 02:17:56 UTC

^really ?+

2019-09-05 02:18:14 UTC

Fo you feel its really good and light weight for say trekking?

2019-09-05 02:19:18 UTC

Those look nice though NYS can suck the fattest of dicks when it comes to mag sizes

2019-09-05 02:19:33 UTC

I mean other than ban places theres no point

2019-09-05 02:19:40 UTC

And for children

2019-09-05 02:20:06 UTC

I got it solely for backpacking. I hardly notice the weight with my other gear. It shoots good for the job it needs to do, and assembling it is easy

2019-09-05 02:20:26 UTC

Hell I bought my three year old niece her first BB gun last weekend my sister wants to kill me

2019-09-05 02:20:37 UTC

Lol

2019-09-05 02:20:38 UTC

Yee that's what I want it for. I'm 100 percent getting one now.

2019-09-05 02:22:17 UTC

Make sure you use high quality ammo with it. .22s are finicky and I've noticed a difference in the ammount of failures to feed and stove pipes with the really shitty stuff. Haven't had problems with like CCI green tag

2019-09-05 02:22:47 UTC

I'll heed that advice fully.

2019-09-05 02:23:03 UTC

I gotta find somewhere that will sell it

2019-09-05 02:23:19 UTC

I uses Winchester ammo for most of my firearms except my Carcano I have to order them from Italy

2019-09-05 02:23:46 UTC

I have a local shot that has a few in stock. Which is weird for NY

2019-09-05 02:24:00 UTC

*shop

2019-09-05 02:24:13 UTC

Luckyy

2019-09-05 02:24:22 UTC

I'll have to check out smaller shops

2019-09-05 02:24:41 UTC

I've been a horrible person and bought my guns on sale at big chains

2019-09-05 02:25:10 UTC

Yeah mom and pop shops don't and you know damn sure I would reload them in our bench if I wasn't worried about damaging the rifle

2019-09-05 02:27:02 UTC

Oh god lol
