It kind of was an event; some dude created an online challenge, based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R, where you had to dress in certain equipment and fatigues based on what faction you were with, you had to do certain things, and you also had several levels of difficulty too. You then had to post pics to /k/ as proof of your exploits, and /k/ would give you brownie points for being based enough to actually go camp in an abandoned place with a loaded weapon and dressed like a complete jackass
