Ok I'm watching this video and I'm sorry but this is based on a lot of bad logic. First off, having a low minimum wage so businesses can afford to pay people less is the epitome of corporate welfare. They're not even talking about how you have corporate CEOs and boards of directors make in companies that pay people $7.25/hour, which is impossible to live on ANYWHERE in the US. Secondly, if small businesses are hurting from the law then either exceptions need to be made for those businesses to ensure they aren't drowned out, or we need to recognize that there are certain companies that are just plain paying workers shit wages so the guys up top profit off of it. And thirdly, the original laws were racist because blacks were more likely to be hired?! Are you fucking kidding me? That's blatant bullshit; Jim Crow laws allowed businesses to discriminate not only who they served but who they hired too. What a load of shit.
