Has anyone read any of Yuval Noah Harari's books (Sapien, Homo Deus, 21 lessons for the 21st century)?
it was riddled with the crazied opinion that the EU and UN were basions of liberal ideas and the greatest hope for the world
yet nothing was specifics only stupid things like coming together to solve problems too big for one nation

strictly speaking: progressivism, but he comes off as more of a liberal in the older sense that hasnt actually looked into how these systems work. Furthermore he was convinced that ideas should be solved top down rather than locally (bottom up)
