people glamorize/romanticize it

2017-03-22 01:30:56 UTC

ive interacted with a few people with gender dysphoria, for example

2017-03-22 01:30:57 UTC

way too much

2017-03-22 01:31:05 UTC

Oh

2017-03-22 01:31:16 UTC

huh, couldnt see anyone glamorizing that

2017-03-22 01:31:20 UTC

Lol I got into a fight with a tumblrino today

2017-03-22 01:31:22 UTC

that's why there's so many 12 year olds thinking they're depressed

2017-03-22 01:31:33 UTC

right

2017-03-22 01:31:35 UTC

She said she's kin with god

2017-03-22 01:31:43 UTC

I said fuck u

2017-03-22 01:31:45 UTC

😂

2017-03-22 01:31:46 UTC

Tell me about it

2017-03-22 01:31:48 UTC

Oh

2017-03-22 01:31:53 UTC

because in this day and age it's trendy to have mental illness

2017-03-22 01:31:54 UTC

I'm very mature right? Lol

2017-03-22 01:32:01 UTC

You are

2017-03-22 01:32:03 UTC

i mean i am an anxious person, but ive never had anything diagnosed, ofc

2017-03-22 01:32:28 UTC

@the neighborhood eboy people use the word mental illness too loosely this day and age

2017-03-22 01:32:29 UTC

kids think somehow being sad every now and then is depression

2017-03-22 01:32:30 UTC

I honestly don't like it when people claim they have depression just for attention

2017-03-22 01:32:36 UTC

i mean

2017-03-22 01:32:45 UTC

or they milk their mental illness

2017-03-22 01:32:49 UTC

in the, hows it said, colecial? Or something?

2017-03-22 01:32:50 UTC

Ughhhhhhhhhhh

2017-03-22 01:32:54 UTC

or misdiagnose themselves on purpose

2017-03-22 01:32:54 UTC

Makes me anxious to admit that I am diagnosed with clinical depression

2017-03-22 01:32:55 UTC

People without real mental illness has killed the meaning

2017-03-22 01:32:58 UTC

I know a few people who do that

2017-03-22 01:33:03 UTC

@transtrenders

2017-03-22 01:33:11 UTC

in whatever its called terms, you could refer to sadness as "depression" and not the mental illness

2017-03-22 01:33:15 UTC

So it's like

2017-03-22 01:33:29 UTC

Don't self-diagnose

2017-03-22 01:33:31 UTC

colequial or somethinf

2017-03-22 01:33:32 UTC

i forget

2017-03-22 01:33:32 UTC

Pls

2017-03-22 01:33:33 UTC

I misdiagnosed myself when I was 13 due to lack of education on the subject

2017-03-22 01:33:43 UTC

Doctors said i was depressed i needed meds i told them to stick it and didnt do it

2017-03-22 01:33:45 UTC

but now I have a proper diagnosis

2017-03-22 01:33:48 UTC

again, i dont feel like its always self diagnosing idiots tho

2017-03-22 01:34:04 UTC

could just be people saying they're "depressed" as a way to aay theyre sad

2017-03-22 01:34:12 UTC

The thing is, most people will go through depression, but it's often their lifestyle choices that breeds that depression, or a bad experience which they need to get through. But most of the time you can get through it by getting help. But it's not something you brag about, liek you don't brag about being sick
