honestly fuck student loans

2017-04-06 13:44:12 UTC

that shits like a life sentence of paying

2017-04-06 13:44:15 UTC

I can save up some of the money I have left over though. Since I can't save too much, I could just dump it in a lump sum to one of the debts once it gets too high.

2017-04-06 13:44:49 UTC

they should make schooling free

2017-04-06 13:44:59 UTC

Bernie's trying to

2017-04-06 13:45:05 UTC

It's more popular now but I doubt it'll pass.

2017-04-06 13:45:08 UTC

trumps making life worse

2017-04-06 13:45:21 UTC

for ever race

2017-04-06 13:45:23 UTC

$500 can pay for half of two of my debts.

2017-04-06 13:45:31 UTC

I have about $6000 in total debt.

2017-04-06 13:45:40 UTC

o thats not too bad

2017-04-06 13:45:52 UTC

thats actually alright but if they have interest thats troubling

2017-04-06 13:45:58 UTC

But it's costing me $250 a month.

2017-04-06 13:46:19 UTC

Expenses keep coming up that I can't afford normally so my debt's climbing faster than I can pay it off.

2017-04-06 13:46:27 UTC

It should be easier when the student loan is paid off.

2017-04-06 13:46:35 UTC

Then I can get ahead of the interest and that.

2017-04-06 13:47:26 UTC

I also just cut my cable TV from $80 premiere cable (the most common package from my provider), down to a $20 basic cable that just has the main national networks that all have local versions like CBS and NBC and such

2017-04-06 13:47:34 UTC

$60 more a month will help

2017-04-06 13:47:41 UTC

I had like 30k in debt in the US back in 2003, but I left the country and after my dad died my mom said she couldn't make the payments anymore, so I probably would have had some problems if I hadn't left the country.

2017-04-06 13:48:12 UTC

how come such a large debt?

2017-04-06 13:48:34 UTC

Credit cards.

2017-04-06 13:48:34 UTC

You try to afford... anything on $50 a month left over after bills and critical expenses.

2017-04-06 13:49:07 UTC

In the long run it is helping me though.

2017-04-06 13:49:07 UTC

ah makes sense my family avoids anything to do with credit unless were in a bad situation

2017-04-06 13:49:23 UTC

This makes me sad

2017-04-06 13:49:25 UTC

Because the student loans destroyed my credit because of some fradulant practices on their end.

2017-04-06 13:49:25 UTC

I don't want to pay the TV tax here so I don't have my TV cable attached.

2017-04-06 13:49:37 UTC

The other debt, and being good with it, helps rebuild my credit.

2017-04-06 13:50:23 UTC

The student loan place was fradulantly filing my payment a day after the due date, diligently, like clockwork, no matter when I sent it in, ( was doing it by mail then), so consstently they had to be doing it on purpose.

2017-04-06 13:50:39 UTC

It ruined my credit and I couldn't prove it was their fault.

2017-04-06 13:50:58 UTC

It takes seven years for deliquencies to expire on your credit report.

2017-04-06 13:51:19 UTC

It stopped when I switched to automatic payments.

2017-04-06 13:51:45 UTC

lucky where im going i wont have to pay off large amounts of loans to land myself a good job

2017-04-06 13:51:48 UTC

I hate this. So much financial instability. It makes me sad. Debt is literally the worst thing

2017-04-06 13:52:38 UTC

loss of sleep is impairing my typing wtf im like all over the place

2017-04-06 13:52:51 UTC

I would someday like to own a house. Sure I need a job first, but a lot of damn good that will do me with shitty credit. So in the meantime I'm rebuilding it best I can.

2017-04-06 13:53:01 UTC

I think it's in the 600s now last I checked.

2017-04-06 13:53:06 UTC

2017-04-06 13:53:54 UTC

2017-04-06 13:54:06 UTC

I've got 2 different names now, dunno how that'll work out if I have to go back to the states.

2017-04-06 13:54:25 UTC

Right now? Badly.
