*Yet I feel like he's already done this.*

2019-01-09 05:19:17 UTC

At least 5 times

2019-01-09 05:19:30 UTC

There's so much in that cesspool festering that I forget what's in there.

2019-01-09 05:21:51 UTC

i watched him when i was younger but thankfully was never super into him. i remember watching the videos where he rated clearly underaged girls by their appearance and was pretty disgusted with it

2019-01-09 05:23:17 UTC

who in the right mind thinks rating 12-16 year old girls on how attractive they are is an okay thing? especially when theyre 30? just outright nasty. the grooming thing doesnt surprise me at all

2019-01-09 05:23:48 UTC

"If people want Onision to die off they need to stop talking about him"

yeah
maybe after this current escapade gets wrapped up, people can start communicating with each other to try to restrain themselves from righteously giving the guy attention, Rep included. It's clear he's not suffering as long as people are talking about him. He needs to be properly starved

2019-01-09 05:25:09 UTC

to be fair though, watching other peoples content about onision lets people know whats up with their favorite dramawhore without directly watching his videos

2019-01-09 05:25:22 UTC

and helps gives subs + views to smaller channels!

And repzion does usually make it clear to not watch onions original video.

2019-01-09 05:26:43 UTC

Ultimately that's not good enough though because it's just adding content he can use to bolster his own channel. If everyone, and I mean everyone turns away from him and refuses to react to him, he's going to struggle.

And yeah, I understand the thing with helping smaller channels grow, but really in the face of beating him you can't play that game

2019-01-09 05:26:44 UTC

Honestly it’s a no-win situation. Unless onion’s channel gets taken down, or he gets charged (he honestly should be) then they’re gonna keep doing what they’re doing with or without an audience

2019-01-09 05:27:31 UTC

Though, I do know that the fact that he is criticized does lead some of his audience to not watch him anymore, so I do see the value in that.

2019-01-09 05:28:02 UTC

totally can make the case that outside perspectives can help people draw away from him as well

2019-01-09 05:28:53 UTC

Hair Game I wonder to what extent, though, if his numbers go down low enough, is the thing.

2019-01-09 05:30:27 UTC

from what i know his views are pretty bad

There's a large percentage of people that believe that the dislike button on a YouTube video actually does something, it doesn't. I think that misconception leads to people viewing the onions videos simply to dislike them and, in turn, only benefiting the onion.

2019-01-09 05:30:45 UTC

I will never go to onion's channel or watch any of his vids.

2019-01-09 05:31:56 UTC

he seems to average 11k-44k views, but that’s just from glancing at his channel

2019-01-09 05:32:22 UTC

taking a quick glance*

2019-01-09 05:32:58 UTC

he should be doing worse, but i’m assuming half the people clicking on the video are just there to watch, go off on him in the comments, dislike it and leave

2019-01-09 05:34:15 UTC

If they're there, they shouldn't be

2019-01-09 05:34:29 UTC

agreed

2019-01-09 05:34:34 UTC

Should apply general rule that 99.9% of the time a YT comment isn't going to change someone's mind about anything

2019-01-09 05:34:34 UTC

yeah i also agree

I wish there was some sort of way that we could communicate with the people that click on onion's videos just to hate, and get them to stop

2019-01-09 05:39:00 UTC

Think there will ever be a YT purge?

2019-01-09 05:39:30 UTC

well, the people clicking on his videos to hate must watch hate videos about him too, right? so if a youtuber does a video on him and specifically says not to do that + explain that it only helps him, i think a lot will stop

2019-01-09 05:40:32 UTC

That could work, except he would get a massive rise out of people having to restrain themselves from interacting with him

2019-01-09 05:41:04 UTC

there was a yt purge recently

2019-01-09 05:41:07 UTC

at least theyre not contributing to his views though!

2019-01-09 05:41:12 UTC

hence why mumkeyjones is dead

2019-01-09 05:41:18 UTC

might be worth the long term goal though. The deeper thing is just readjusting the mindsets of people that like to criticize people that are easy to criticize and help them realize what game they ought to be playing

2019-01-09 05:41:41 UTC

mumkeyjones?

The people that like to criticize could watch onion's videos on other said youtuber's channel and then tweet at onion

2019-01-09 05:45:32 UTC

tweeting at Onision isn't really necessary. What is he going to do, change his behavior?

2019-01-09 05:47:19 UTC

lol his new tweet is all about " self inprovment"

2019-01-09 05:47:55 UTC

I think its starting to set in that he lost all his allies

2019-01-09 05:48:01 UTC

I dunno who mumkeyjones is <a:crymusic:479061978191757312>

2019-01-09 05:48:33 UTC

he was a kind of parody anime reviewer/shitposter who was known for being an elliot rogers sympathiser if i remember right

2019-01-09 05:48:58 UTC

him getting terminated during that purge was the main thing people noticed off it

2019-01-09 05:49:01 UTC

Onion will say he changed his behavior then do 6 more things to reconfirm the exact opposite.
