Couldn't understand why he was being asked for NZD$25 at the door

He snatched the parcel from the guy and told him to fuck off

Because there had been bad actors in the past who scam people for non existent tariffs

I think the follow up calls he received were legitimate DHL calls, but he thought they were the same scammers

Eventually they just wrote him off
