Yeah I have been debating on wearing a PC, but there is coming really confrontational about it

2017-07-30 07:15:38 UTC

I'm more worried about knives and tazers than firearms

2017-07-30 07:16:26 UTC

hopefully the cops will do their jobs

2017-07-30 07:16:34 UTC

and we wont have to worry about it

2017-07-30 07:17:17 UTC

I think they will

Rural VA cops are our people

They hate the left as much as we do

2017-07-30 07:17:37 UTC

we arent in rural va though

2017-07-30 07:17:53 UTC

But the VSP recruits from there

2017-07-30 07:18:37 UTC

yeah hopefully the VSP shows up in force.

2017-07-30 07:18:56 UTC

They Btfo'd antifa few weeks ago

2017-07-30 07:21:55 UTC

well yeah, antifa was messing with their guys

2017-07-30 07:26:45 UTC

They will again...

2017-07-30 07:37:03 UTC

Here is my plate carrier. In addition to the plates I have purchased some sheet metal heavy enough to withstand puncture from a switchblade or screwdriver and patted it with half of a package of eight and a half by eleven paper. You cannot drive an ice pick through it by hand

2017-07-30 14:34:24 UTC

@greg-ky that AR500 armor?

2017-07-30 14:37:21 UTC

Yea. 200$ it weighs about 22 lb with the plates in it I had to cumberbund for the sides as well

2017-07-30 14:46:06 UTC

I was pricing some out last night, and it was like $350

2017-07-30 14:50:00 UTC

This place has Spartan armor, same as pictured for $99 per plate in their retail shop, not sure about online but worth a look

I'm saving up for ceramic. Steel is heavy and good green tip 556 ammo punches right through it at 100 yards

2017-07-30 14:57:06 UTC

AR500 has a lvlIII+ steel that is rated for green tip

2017-07-30 14:57:44 UTC

my issue with ceramic is that it has a really short shelf life, and it is super easy to break

2017-07-30 14:58:37 UTC

I fell out the back of a 7 ton and cracked a sapi once. It really cannot take the beating

2017-07-30 15:02:06 UTC

Have you seen the super light synthetic plates? It's level 3+ or 4 but weighs 3 or 4 pounds?

2017-07-30 15:02:39 UTC

2017-07-30 15:02:52 UTC

i bet that is expensive as shit

2017-07-30 15:05:19 UTC

This has a 3A rating. It's not rated for your rifle calibers but it'll go up to a 44 Magnum

2017-07-30 15:07:22 UTC

yeah I was looking at the 3+ stuff

2017-07-30 15:07:37 UTC

the lightweight 3+ looks decent

2017-07-30 15:07:48 UTC

@greg-ky were you wearing that to the rally?

2017-07-30 15:08:08 UTC

600 a set

2017-07-30 15:10:18 UTC

so double the price of AR500, how does it do against multiple hits I wonder

2017-07-30 15:11:13 UTC

I'm going to bring it with the plates. But I will probably end up putting the stab-proof sheet metal in just because of weight and Heat concerns

2017-07-30 15:11:57 UTC

I was debating on bringing mine or not.

2017-07-30 15:12:12 UTC

I don't expect to be on the front lines, but you never know

2017-07-30 15:12:20 UTC

I am bringing my kevlar though

2017-07-30 15:13:52 UTC

Bulletsafe makes a real nice 3A Kevlar vest for 299$. I thought about purchasing one of those but money is a little tight with the trip.

2017-07-30 15:14:09 UTC

I'm in the process of painting my shield

2017-07-30 15:14:35 UTC

yeah i meant my kevlar helmet
