I have 2 flagpoles about 6 ft 1.25" wooden dowels. Should I cut one shorter for the rally? Anyone know if there is there any legal restrictions on length of that kind of thing in the city?

@RexLexus Cut it in half and slide them both inside a PVC pipe. This will give you versatility depending on the situation.

And I wouldn't extend it to the edges of the image. I'd have it sticking past the words but not that far.

@ManWithTheHand get emt tubes and cut them down to a desired length. Light cheap and sturdy

Cheap metal 3 piece flagpoles can be acquired at walmart, if you smash them together hard enough it becomes a bad idea for someone to try and grab it from you, pointy metal edges and whatnot
