Yeah if I can't get the GH5 in time I'll probably just focus on stills.

2017-07-16 20:42:52 UTC

k

2017-07-16 20:43:14 UTC

holy on get me a link to your thing real quick?

2017-07-16 20:43:20 UTC
2017-07-16 20:43:28 UTC

i will staple it to my profile

2017-07-16 20:45:09 UTC

nevermind i got it

2017-07-16 20:53:47 UTC

Assuming I can't get the GH5 I'll still be bringing a Canon DLSR. It's APS-C and not full frame, but it's enough to get some usable footage.

2017-07-16 20:57:29 UTC

Okay

2017-07-16 21:42:21 UTC

@Herrenvolk - MD , I have a DSLR. I am willing to help film if it does not take up too much of my time. I am also willing to lend it out to a trusted third party that you or someone else can vouch for.

2017-07-16 21:42:33 UTC

I also have a bunch of audio equipment.

2017-07-17 14:58:20 UTC

I have a super 8 film camera from the 80s if that will work?

2017-07-17 15:24:12 UTC

I don't know if you're being serious or not, but if you are I'd suggest not bringing anything that you don't want to get broken.

2017-07-17 15:33:49 UTC
2017-07-17 15:37:48 UTC

I'm just messing mate. I don't think a super 8 would look to great in a documentary with a bunch of DLSR

2017-07-17 15:56:12 UTC

But 8mm is the best film medium

2017-07-17 16:35:01 UTC

I have an 8mm camera too

2017-07-17 17:36:56 UTC

That would be awesome, if you could place it somewhere relatively safe

2017-07-17 17:54:13 UTC

I don't think I will use it in the film though since it doesn't really warrant it. We're not a bunch of art school hipsters. It might be interesting in the future though. @StrawberryArmada

2017-07-17 17:55:25 UTC

I have multiple still and video film cameras if you're ever interested. I just collect them mostly

2017-07-17 18:12:47 UTC

Arthouse Right

2017-07-17 19:39:40 UTC

@Herrenvolk - MD it would be pretty cool to use for our own documentary shorts of our events.

2017-07-18 18:22:02 UTC

I'm trying to make at least one /pol/ thread every day to drive attendance. Here is the one I have up now: http://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/134141145

2017-07-18 18:22:12 UTC

That Discord link goes to a quarantine server, not this one.

Be careful shilling too hard for it on /pol/. They can get pissed if you shove things in their face too much.

2017-07-20 02:30:15 UTC

I won't have multiple threads going at the same time, if that's what you mean.

2017-07-20 02:47:16 UTC

Also it helps if folks here seed first replies, since they can alter the course of a thread depending on whether they're positive or negative

2017-07-20 02:49:05 UTC

That is a good point.

@Diethard you'd probably have more interest if instead of posting about the date of the event, you make posts about X antifa person on twitter/Facebook threatening violence or coming up with absurd tactics to try and and get city council to shut it down, or Bellamy colluding with antifa, etc.

2017-07-21 09:16:18 UTC

/pol/ likes things they can dig into online, not so much the shilling for events / promotion

2017-07-21 17:28:20 UTC

Good idea there

2017-07-23 02:08:53 UTC

@Herrenvolk - MD I have a Canon 6D. I could shoot some video as well.

Let's kick promotion for this event into high gear. I want to keep /pol/ threads up around the clock, maybe promote it on reddit too. Are there any other places y'all can think of?

2017-07-31 18:05:00 UTC

Not sure who's counter-signalling me, but I'm the one who posted this thread: http://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/135655093
