brave and stunning, we stan
So, is there a term for the following?
To invade a nation,
To isolate it completely by shutting all borders
Then proceed to kill each and every inhabitant of that nation. Every. Last. One of them.
Followed by inhabitance of the invading nation of that area, destroying any proof of existence of the former populace.
Total War?
War of extermination
Genocide followed by salting the earth?
Liberalism.

@BabaBooey That's a Mao Zedong quote, you retard. Taylor Swift didn't say that.

Honestly the term is more adequately defined by the aggressor
Let's say Germany invades Holland.
Then shuts all its borders, then kills every single dutchman. 17 million people dead.
Then, German peoples come in, destroy any proof of existence of the Dutch. Culture, art, architecture, anything.
And proceed to build their own culture on dutch ground.
As if the dutch never existed.
How that would be described as a declaration would be simply a "war of extermination"
Perspective from any side defines it as something else
The Germans might call it "cleansing"
Others would call it genocide, but that is quite a literal term, as that is certainly what occurs
probably some new term like "Erasure" would fit well
centrists
Yeah, entirely depends on perspective and imagination in that sense. Hell what if Poland was in support and called it "purification" of Holland.
"We should ban the opinions of people we disagree with because our opinions don't hold up to theirs"
--Extremists
But the declaration term would be a war of extermination.
lol if were gonna get that post-modern about it it kind of removes meaning from all words
Always gonna have opposition, but the future always has words for history.
it probably would just end up being genocide if an honest take is done
>Micro-Portions
speak for yourself, I can get a filling meal for a dollar at a Dollar Store
The genocide would be the act of killing the people, but you don't need a war to commit genocide.
See: Soviet Union
sounds like a war crime
a massive series of them
@Lios THAT'S NOT REAL COMMUNISM, REMEMBER
Well, to be fair. It wasn't. It's just that communism doesn't really last long...
