You say one little thing that may be offensive in the slighest way on a different plane of existence and you get banned from all sorts of groups that are hardly connected or not connected at all to your statement.

True I'm pretty left wing but cancel culture is ridiculous which is why I try not to go around cancelling people for a small thing

Basically all the people who are either accepting or tolerant or at least not completely militant against dissenting minds are in favor of censorship. However, as they associate with more and more extreme thinkers within their own group (which they must, because it's inevitable in the progressivist mindset to become more and more radically opposed to everything that is conservative, because only this way you can continue to be progressive in the reality of constant progress in the world), they eventually become outcasts within their own groups.
So since the moderate minds did not speak up against censorship, but often actively condoned or proposed it, the radical minds among their midst combine the radical views with censorship, and voila, their own moderate thinkers get censored, i.e. deplatformed, i.e. cancelled.
That's one of two ways that I know the left eats itself.
The other being intersectionality.
So yeah cancel culture is a built-in mechanism in progressivism
And yes social media does drive people insane

meh, meat is a very inefficient way of consuming protien. The insects wont be eaten like in the third world, instead we'll cultivate them and use the protien to creat meat replacement products. That is, until we get lab grown meat, then we can start industrially producing that instead
