2017-05-31 13:50:34 UTC

I think our main mission right now is grow our district and other state chapters

2017-05-31 13:50:36 UTC

we should go to the amish in KY and get us a whole calf to grill and cook. they're pretty cheap. we always do it

2017-05-31 13:50:58 UTC

@The Blond Beast just go to a dairy and get a bull calf

2017-05-31 13:51:01 UTC

What's a good way to "grill" when living in an apartment? Won't be in a house for almost 6 more months.

Lamb is best Middle Eastern style from what I've had.

How much are calves?

2017-05-31 13:51:11 UTC

Or to a salebarn

2017-05-31 13:51:32 UTC

Salebarn for dairy bull calfs are like 20

2017-05-31 13:51:53 UTC

@Riefen get a small grill and just ask where you can set it up and there ya go

2017-05-31 13:52:04 UTC

20 grand?

2017-05-31 13:52:09 UTC

20 bucks

2017-05-31 13:52:19 UTC

Holy shit

2017-05-31 13:52:21 UTC

we get ours for 100 and its a lot of meat. Well fed

2017-05-31 13:52:21 UTC

For real?

2017-05-31 13:52:56 UTC

I had always been told growing up that cows were ridiculously expensive. We always grew goats for meat/milk livestock because of cost

2017-05-31 13:53:03 UTC

@Riefen it is

2017-05-31 13:53:07 UTC

I have a dairy

2017-05-31 13:53:22 UTC

I have the smallest breed

2017-05-31 13:53:52 UTC

Why doesn't everybody just buy calves and eat them then? Unwilling to butcher?

2017-05-31 13:54:06 UTC

Or is it a fairly well kept secret?

2017-05-31 13:54:26 UTC

too lazy to drive or no space for the meat

2017-05-31 13:54:36 UTC

we had to buy a extra freezer

2017-05-31 13:54:38 UTC

^

2017-05-31 13:54:49 UTC

Plus look how cute they are

2017-05-31 13:54:58 UTC

Let's don't kill it daddy

2017-05-31 13:55:20 UTC

Trust me they lost their cuteness after messing with them for a few weeks

2017-05-31 13:55:21 UTC

not only does the meat taste better from the amish or local farms but you're giving your money to your own people who work hard for it

2017-05-31 13:55:32 UTC

not some zog company

2017-05-31 13:55:36 UTC

2017-05-31 13:56:10 UTC

I'm eating Jersey steer (dairy cow ) beef right now

2017-05-31 13:56:14 UTC

mine did too back in europe

2017-05-31 13:56:58 UTC

What's the easiest way to butcher an animal that large? I imagine it's not like a deer where you can just field dress its guts and slice up the meat with carving knives.

Don't cows have four stomachs? Does that make it more difficult?

2017-05-31 13:57:25 UTC

In Egyptian art, Egyptians are white and sub-saharans are black. That is beyond hilarious to me

2017-05-31 13:57:49 UTC

It probably is

2017-05-31 13:57:58 UTC

I just use the local slaughter house

2017-05-31 13:58:10 UTC

My cousin is opening up a place like that for deer

2017-05-31 13:58:12 UTC

How much do they charge? I know YMMV but curious

2017-05-31 13:58:19 UTC

we usially hang it on its feet up on a tree, cut the stomach open and cut it then skin it

2017-05-31 13:58:19 UTC

Idk

2017-05-31 13:58:26 UTC

I have to ask my grandad
