"so what?"
I'd like to hope for freedom, but with the pushing for words being violence, it's going to need to be backlash against more than edgy jokes
When I was younger if someone got actually offended by something that only made it funnier. If someone said something you didn't like you'd hide it otherwise they'd only ramp it up.
That's more or less what I say when someone is offended, it's not my problem if the mean words hurt you
the offense can often be the biggest source of humour in a joke
Yeah racial jokes wouldn't be funny if there was no controversy.
it's like they don't realise the more they take offense at every little thing, the greater the supply of these kinds of jokes to counter them
because people are going to find them ridiculous and soft
Is everyone here new? Are there other rooms or something you are admitted into? what are all those blank recordings?
New people end up in this room
Oh am i an immigrant now
Yes we're trying to enter to pillage the riches
@Rabbid Peach We are here to save the NHS
nah, you're just an undocumented citizen
but i just wanna get a free tetnus
thats all

so where do i give in my papers
This is me and why I am here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3vL_0XtiVY
we'd best gibs you dat
i really dont know why i thought the libary channel would be full of book recommendations
Hahaha
that would be a nice addition though, since Sargon sometimes gets asked about the books he's read
I need to find a free copy of Dune God Emperor audiobook, the others were amazing
yeah and as a fellow intellectual stuck in calais waiting to get in, a book would be nice
ewww audiobooks
a nice hardback that bankrupts me
when you're in Calais, you're basically here already, only a matter of time
good point
it is rightful british clay
I do prefer hardbooks myself, though I can see the appeal of audiobooks, especially when it's a story that really benefits from background sounds for atmosphere
thats a good point
but for anyone who listens to asmr i can see it having the same affect for me and just clonking me out
Yeah the Dune Audiobooks are the only audiobooks I have ever listened to and it was really well done. Listened to another one and it was monotone and dull.
for how much people talk about asmr, it's weird that I've never actually checked it out
its wierd
even people like me who like the stuff think its wierd
it does seem strange as an outsider, I have a hard time figuring out the appeal
I sometimes watch it when trying to get to sleep, if my brain is in overdrive.
