I've never read the Koran. Never attracted to it at all. @2:10 tho is right, I've gotten a lot of tears of beauty and profundity from the "Shakespeare" of almost every hindu scripture I've read. What i meant about "god consciousness" is either you are cut off from knowing of God, or you are in the fold.

I'm pretty sure the muslims believe in the Koran is because they will get their head cut off otherwise. not a fan.

In my view, God created it all, his breath breathes everything in and out of existence, his dream is our universe, creates all things, is the ultimate enjoyer of all things, etc. Metaphors aren't sufficient to contain Him. So such a God to me, pre-existed modern religion, so every testament about _that_ God is worth reading. I'm enjoying the video by the way.

awesome video

I like Jesses explanation of the Gospel, that Christ made a way back to the Father, and put everything back in order. He said you believe in Christ by believing what he said. That makes the most sense and is the easiest to understand. Simple.

2018-07-16 01:51:51 UTC

by believing in what who said?

2018-07-16 01:52:37 UTC

In what Christ said.

2018-07-16 01:52:57 UTC

Not believing in what he said. Just in believing what he said.

2018-07-16 01:53:33 UTC

“Believe in” is a vague phrase.

2018-07-16 01:54:31 UTC

I believe in what Christ said.

2018-07-16 03:50:46 UTC

Is there a difference in *believing* what he said and *believing in* what he said? Believing sounds simpler, no way of misunderstanding what one means.

2018-07-16 03:51:33 UTC

It means the same thing.

2018-07-16 04:08:07 UTC

@noobpocket " I think I would know a little bit of ethics and morality, but I can't be sure."

2018-07-16 04:08:20 UTC

THEN HURRY UP AND READ THE BIBLE SO YOU KNOW!!

2018-07-16 04:08:24 UTC

^

2018-07-16 04:08:33 UTC

I agree with Tim on that.

2018-07-16 04:08:38 UTC

But if I hadn't read the Bible, how would I know?

2018-07-16 04:08:43 UTC

That was the presuppositon.

2018-07-16 04:08:48 UTC

Its the best philosophy book

2018-07-16 04:09:15 UTC

If you know that you don't know, then do you know that you don't know.

2018-07-16 04:09:51 UTC

I know that I know that I don't know, because if I did know, that I'd know, and I have a Bible, so I know, but if I didn't know, would I know?

2018-07-16 04:10:11 UTC

I don't know

2018-07-16 04:11:10 UTC

I know that you know

2018-07-16 04:11:53 UTC

I would feel like I would know some inherent / intrinsic values, but I'm not sure which one's I'd know.

2018-07-16 04:11:56 UTC

Perhaps murder.

2018-07-16 04:12:15 UTC

I'd know that'd be immoral.

2018-07-16 09:49:15 UTC

God pre-existed his descriptions. His works are greater than the attempts to descirbe them besides.

2018-07-16 10:06:08 UTC

I don't believe that God is subject to time. I do not think it is beyond his power however, to experience time through any being who does experience time, at any point in history or the future, as if it is happening right now. To a person it would seem fantastic, but to God it's probably no big deal.

2018-07-16 16:41:04 UTC

Jesse says the Truth is written in our heart, I don't think that truth was written on a certain date, but it is eternal because Truth is eternal.

2018-07-16 19:57:19 UTC

"The Truth is written in our heart" "Your heart's not pure"

2018-07-16 20:26:38 UTC

thoughts are the impure part. mind is the trickster. God made all, is everywhere, is transcendent of our trappings. All powerful, etc

2018-07-17 17:13:06 UTC

Exodus 21 This is supposed to be Gods word ?

the problem that all atheists have is they believe their understanding of existence is existence. they confuse the map for the territory. they do not include in their model that there are non-ordinary realities. they don't know what to do without definitions and words to compare with other words. but all words are an attempt to describe the indescribable. you can describe the flavor of chocolate in words to someone who has never tasted it, but the words will probably not equal the taste of chocolate in that person's mouth. the atheists problem is that they are yearning for an authority figure in their life who can bestow on them a sense of pride in their ego. If you would like an unequivocal "definition" of God, call him Eternal Life. An atheist would need to stretch wide their mind-hole to include a concept other than what their dead instruments can measure. Try conceiving of a level of awareness in which time does not exist.
what does an atheist gain even if they were to "win" and destroy God? Isn't society irreligious enough for them already? if they aren't happy now they will never be.
"Whatever you cannot live without, then that is your God" -i forgot who said that
Atheists are fundamentalist believers, they believe anything that someone with an university degree writes and publishes. They're authoritarians. It's well enough that they aren't religious because there are plenty of wolves in sheep's clothing already, at least atheists are up front. But they need to forgive their fathers.

@Truth#3972 never responded to anything I wrote in answer to his previous questions

2018-07-20 21:06:02 UTC

God told us all to not hate but love one another. It’s that simple, but so simple ppl forget. Amen brothers and sisters.

2018-07-20 22:33:32 UTC

I would agree in that sin is any activity that takes us away from ourselvs so to not know God

2018-07-20 22:33:51 UTC
