Also, I do understand that I was wrong to hold resentment and anger towards her. I guess it just wasn’t the answer from her that I was expecting. Then again, black mothers seem to think they can do no wrong. If that’s the case, even though she proclaims to be a Christian, I believe she’s still in a fallen state because she didn’t realize I was forgiving her for the evil that she’s done towards me (or maybe she did & this was her way of maintaining control?).

@GIDEON 4000 Great question, let me summarize something for you really quickl

2018-08-05 21:47:13 UTC

even though this is a question for jesse.

That feeling you have after hearing your mother say she accepts you apology is anger, you're expecting her to apologize back to you, but you shouldn't do that if your objective is to forgive. The way forgivness works is to go and forgive your mother for what shes done and apologizing for being wrong to resent her for it. After all your mother really did do the best she was capable of doing and to hate her for that is not merciful or forgiving.

that close heart to heart with your parent's cannot be planned out. The best thing to do is to go to them and say whats on your mind and just get eveything out. Do not expect anything from your parents when forgiving them, it doesn't matter how they react. The important thing is to forgive them sincerely and mean it, so that spirit of anger can leave you and the pure love that parent and children should have will be restored. It will be a weight off your soul. Seriously..

best of luck to you

@PastPresentFuture You’re right! Although I wasn’t expecting an apology from her, I was expecting her to act out. But you’re right, I shouldn’t have expected anything because I was only there to forgive her. You’re right because the more I thought about it, I realized it was anger in me from her telling me that she forgives me even though I didn’t ask for an apology or forgiveness. I really need to understand and remember like you and Jesse said, she can’t help herself. It appears that the problem must be with me. I went to her to forgive her, and instead of loving her and forgiving her I became a beta male a was offended. That’s not love on my part. However I didn’t act out or become outwardly angry or anything like that, I just said ok and left it at that. I think I was confused because I was expecting the anger to leave immediately after I told her I forgive you and that I held anger and resentment towards her because of the things she did to me. I’m going to pray on this and perhaps I will need to go to her and forgive her again. Thanks for responding, I greatly appreciate it.

@GIDEON 4000 anytime man, you're on the right path. Stay strong. Once you see that you are wrong God will help you overcome.

Satan has had like thousands of years to create life. How come he didn't do it yet?

2018-08-13 01:16:17 UTC

Jesse, what do you think about Antifa's latest chant?

Why aren't they in Guatonamo bay

2018-08-13 02:31:58 UTC

Well, America might have already been lost, which could explain the existence of a "deep state" and a communist born in Kenya became president.

2018-08-13 02:32:23 UTC

9/11 too

2018-08-13 02:32:41 UTC

but I haven't given up.

It's crazy how liberals hate traditional values and customs which we've carried with us since the early modern age - 1800s-1900s, but yet they want to back step our countries all the way back to the years before christ, barbarism and atrocities, lawless states and countries

2018-08-13 17:28:34 UTC

America is the only nation with any hope left. The rest of the world is wicked.

@JesseLee Thank you so much for responding my question on August 9th's show, Mr. Jesse. I just saw it today being that I'm trying to catch up on my back log of your shows. God bless you for the work that you are doing to help us all to over come our anger & to reconnect with our Father in Heaven. Thank you again!!!

Many of the cities have #fallen as well as politicians

2018-08-16 15:56:35 UTC

Greetings! Jesse,
I would like to know, if I should forgive besides my parents, my brothers for the mistakes I made when I was young.

2018-08-18 04:35:34 UTC

@Marcos Rocha Forgiving parents is just the beginning as it is the source of it anger. It allows you to forgive others easier.

2018-08-19 20:19:31 UTC

Thanks for the tip and question @J_G_

2018-08-20 14:42:34 UTC

@Kenneth Lyles thanks! that makes sense.

@Stopvegans asks: Do you believe that the Bible is 100% true? My answer: No. The enemies have corrupted parts of it to deceive people.

2018-08-21 01:34:37 UTC

What about the Dead Sea Scrolls showing much of the Bible remained intact over the centuries?

2018-08-21 01:35:33 UTC

The Devil can quote the Bible & decieve with the real meaning...

2018-08-21 01:35:49 UTC

i dont think god uses words tho

2018-08-21 01:36:16 UTC

words is the easiest to be decieved by

2018-08-21 01:40:38 UTC

In the beginning was the Word & the Word was God...

2018-08-21 01:40:55 UTC

a word had to be in order to give thanks to

2018-08-21 01:41:27 UTC

What do you mean

2018-08-21 01:41:46 UTC

2018-08-21 01:45:48 UTC

Yes

Does everyone recall how Jesse usually says something about not knowing how you will react when something happens unless it is actually happening? I’m asking this to ask a larger question as I’ve recently accepted Christianity. I’m wondering if being a true Christian is someone who will die for their faith? But if that’s true, that’s not in line with what jesse says about not knowing what you will do until the moment comes.

2018-08-21 02:13:28 UTC

When you ask that question you’ve made an assumption about the future, which does not exist. Your statement about dying for your faith is a lie until the moment arrives and happens and then goes away. The devil has a funny way of making us think about what we will do if something were to happen. This breeds fear, anxiety, restlessness, anger, etc. it drives us to act under the influence of an illusion, and we feel “good” fooling ourselves that we will do something when we really don’t know.

2018-08-21 02:14:55 UTC

It may seem ignorant for jesse to not know what he will do in a scenario but in reality it is a wise truth. He does not know until it happens.

2018-08-21 02:16:06 UTC

I never said he was. I agree with him thinking that way because it is indeed not in the moment, making it an illusion. What I’m asking is how can I know I’m a Christian if I can’t know if I’d die for it?

2018-08-21 02:16:43 UTC

As far as being a real Christian because you died for your faith, I don’t know about that, most Christians I know are LIVING examples not DEAD examples.

2018-08-21 02:17:00 UTC

I wasn’t accusing you of thinking that, I was just generally explaining.

2018-08-21 02:17:42 UTC

I had the same morals and values along with believing in god before pronouncing myself a Christian. What makes me different now? I just really am ignorant to how this goes as I wasn’t brought up in it due to my mothers mental illness & lack of resources growing up

2018-08-21 02:19:09 UTC

There’s so many martyred saints too though..

2018-08-21 02:19:59 UTC

To be honest I had an interaction with someone that made me feel I should question my new religious standing :(
