@Kevin FL All of this depends on your purpose of ownership

2017-09-21 21:09:44 UTC

They shouldn't be blasting this 3 months out. We really should be practicing hardcore opsec after Cville.

@Lisa Jo TX-WD Sorry late reply

Just feeling like the spring is being difficult when loading rounds it's not smooth I got the 10 rD one easy it may not like the 20 rD mags from what I hear

2017-09-21 21:16:06 UTC

But hell I only need one out of the 19 for home defense

2017-09-21 21:51:01 UTC

@Kevin FL Consider taking it to the range and work it in a little.. Maybe get the opinion of the guy behind the counter. But the spring in the 20 round mag is probably going to be stiffer just because it's more spring. If it feeds correctly then you might just have to get used to it.. SKS'S were mass produced to military specs.. Operating reliably was the requirement.. Smoothness and comfort are way down the list.
Also worth considering is an SKS may not be the best home defense gun out there. It was designed as an infantry rifle before close quarters combat was the norm. If you're in a hall or doorway and have to swing it around, the 20-22" barrel might bite you in the ass. Also 7.62x39 rounds, more often than not, are going to be FMJ and they have a lot of stank behind them.. A bullet may go through an intruder and find it's way into a neighbors house.

What channel will the book chat be in

2017-09-21 23:21:41 UTC

Look at the voice channels, it will be in one of the ones labelled "BC #" whichever one your BC leader chooses.

2017-09-22 13:07:56 UTC

Yep that's where I worked and that's my bay

2017-09-22 13:08:33 UTC

Somehow I feel like someone up above is laughing at me

2017-09-22 19:13:23 UTC

@everyone @rflagg SC and some others had their reading discussion recently. I would encourage everyone to get onto doing theirs ASAP.

2017-09-23 02:03:52 UTC

2017-09-23 02:05:39 UTC

I can say there's value in it, both at the individual level and as a small group

2017-09-23 02:05:44 UTC

2017-09-23 04:34:09 UTC

A lot of the TX guys are blue collar. Got several guys who work in oil, some shipping, I think we may have someone who works on cars. Not sure.

2017-09-23 04:41:09 UTC

2017-09-23 10:36:46 UTC

Doxx me if you please but that's my bay visited last night man 10k in tools and toolboxes some sentimental some extremely expensive up in smoke I left for one day on injury and the fucking place burns down i don't know weather to laugh or cry
Apparently it started with a golf cart inside charging the charger failed (its automatic shut off) kept charging the batteries x12 turned them into bombs basically
So yea if you guys have golf carts keep a eye on those chargers... took 5 40k+ cars with it
And a limited edition older v10 viper one of those they only made like 1000 of too

2017-09-23 10:38:20 UTC

On the other side of that wall was 150 gallons of brake clean too could have been much worse

2017-09-23 10:42:02 UTC

The most ironic part is I knew I'd be out for a while so I made sure all my tools where wiped down with oil all my air tools oiled and lubed boxes all cleaned and wiped down I'll post pictures soon as I download them of what they look like now my snap on box took one hell of a beating

2017-09-23 12:07:35 UTC

Damn man that's terrible. Hopefully the dealership will replace the tools.

If anyone needs some inspiration just listen to this. This was at the DS house the night of Cville

2017-09-23 12:08:47 UTC

Well before the hurricane I took inventory and videos so I got that

2017-09-23 12:09:38 UTC

Ok good stuff. I'm assuming you'll have to wait until things are fixed until you get your own area again?

2017-09-23 12:12:33 UTC

Well I'm out on workmans comp anyway for awhile the joke was I was gone one day and the place fucking burns down I did do a lot to keep my guys moral up despite our shitty manager we have now who undoes moral for fun
But yea either insurance attorney or they can pay for it but I'm going for blood I spent a lot on my tools if anyone knows how much matco and snap on costs you know what I'm taking about

2017-09-23 12:22:52 UTC

I've been working through the pain for a couple months but I just couldn't take it anymore wasn't worth it would have still been there for my old managers they asked why I didn't report it earlier my reply was because I'm not a pussy like the other guy who went workers comp for a fake injury

2017-09-23 12:24:12 UTC

So now I have more time for my family and my patriots front family work family is on the sidelines for now

2017-09-23 12:42:22 UTC

@Pale Horse - FL do you have a license

2017-09-23 18:03:16 UTC
