I'm just a humanist who clings to material things because it's literally all we have.

2017-07-18 07:38:21 UTC

I think you just want to live forever, with all the pleasures that it brings.

2017-07-18 07:38:28 UTC

Indisputably.

2017-07-18 07:38:40 UTC

Boring.

2017-07-18 07:38:44 UTC

When I say "cling to material things", I mean my dick.

2017-07-18 07:38:49 UTC

(not really)

2017-07-18 07:39:14 UTC

Isn't boring to live forever?

2017-07-18 07:39:19 UTC

Naaaah.

2017-07-18 07:39:25 UTC

Not for autists.

2017-07-18 07:39:27 UTC

I don't see anything boring about it.

2017-07-18 07:40:19 UTC

I'm an acid head. The world is a beautiful place and I enjoy viewing it, and I would enjoy doing so forever.

2017-07-18 07:40:48 UTC

@MrSally If you understand how things works it becomes boring because things repeat themselves. It is always the same thing and always will be.

2017-07-18 07:41:04 UTC

Thank god I'd still be able to kill myself, but I doubt I ever would.

2017-07-18 07:41:41 UTC

That's just not an idea that passes through my head when I think about the idea of eternal life.

2017-07-18 07:42:35 UTC

After 30 the excitement of life passes many.

2017-07-18 07:42:50 UTC

Not gonna happen for me, no way.

2017-07-18 07:43:10 UTC

I've been through too much shit to even let a second pass me by without finding something to value.

2017-07-18 07:43:14 UTC

What gonna happen after 1000 years?

2017-07-18 07:43:24 UTC

Some cool shit, I guarantee you.

2017-07-18 07:43:34 UTC

Same

2017-07-18 07:43:43 UTC

No idea, but it's gonna be cool.

2017-07-18 07:44:14 UTC

You not gonna be "cool" anymore.

2017-07-18 07:44:27 UTC

You will change

2017-07-18 07:44:27 UTC

I've never been cool so that's not a problem.

2017-07-18 07:44:31 UTC

Everything change

2017-07-18 07:44:36 UTC

I've always been an outsider.

2017-07-18 07:46:11 UTC

I think I would like to empirically prove that history runs in cycles because morons forget shit.

The promise of technology is your best possible time in your life and more. Because your vigour and interest in life is only chemicals, and they can be modified so that your best memories are enhanced. There would, in cyborgs, be a feedback loop of pleasure, where the object of pleasure is enhanced, as well as the ability to experience it. It would be a hedonistic market with pleasure based economics.

2017-07-18 07:49:28 UTC

This song just makes me think about how we have major societal systems in place today based on people from millennia ago being scared of where the sun went at night and worried that it was because god was mad at them.

2017-07-18 07:49:46 UTC

Maybe it's the "alleluiah" part.

2017-07-18 07:50:05 UTC

😅

2017-07-18 07:50:34 UTC

Nothing wrong with hedonism in post-scarcity land

2017-07-18 07:50:42 UTC

That's the whole point.

2017-07-18 07:50:48 UTC

I'm not so sure.

2017-07-18 07:51:14 UTC

Yeah, there's the risk of degeneracy or whatever, but at that point I wouldn't worry at all.

2017-07-18 07:52:42 UTC

I mean, yeah I'll be hooked into an endless techno-dopamine inter-circuit injection so I won't worry about anything ever

2017-07-18 07:53:13 UTC

But I don't think actual criminals would be a problem when a self-improving AI has improved things to that point.

2017-07-18 07:54:29 UTC

Utopians are the only good people

2017-07-18 07:54:35 UTC

You will be a quivering mass of 10,000 genitals, injecting super nerve enhancing drugs, plugged into a supercomputer with optimised pleasure software. It is not progress at all.

2017-07-18 07:54:39 UTC

You r gey
