2017-08-23 02:19:40 UTC

@olev I'll just repost what I said on an Alt-right server when I got asked that:
I'm a bit of a weirdo tbh... The short answer (as in the one in which I don't sxplain a lot of details 'bout specific "buts" and "ifs" is that I'm a republican (in the non-american sense) that most republicans would consider a monarchist (though they would be technically wrong to do that). Think of me as a centrist (liberal) with a slight conservative bent and lots of "out there" ideas about the structure of the state as such rather than political ideology wchich is just old school liberalism with lots of laisez faire elements to provide an economic backbone to the political side of things. Not a total laisez fairist but more of one than not.
Is that sufficent or do you want me to elaborate on something ?

2017-08-23 02:21:34 UTC

So not really a lefty

2017-08-23 02:22:01 UTC

In no popular sense of the term no

2017-08-23 02:22:21 UTC

Unless you wanna go for like social issues

2017-08-23 02:23:04 UTC

On which I might have simmilar policy poinions to "leftists" but based on different argumentation

2017-08-23 02:23:57 UTC

Hmm

2017-08-23 02:24:05 UTC

I'm actually economically left

2017-08-23 02:24:10 UTC

But socially I have a slight right leaning

2017-08-23 02:24:16 UTC

Not like natsoc though

2017-08-23 02:24:19 UTC

NAtSoc spotted^^

2017-08-23 02:24:51 UTC

First of all, natsoc is way more than slightly socially right wing

2017-08-23 02:25:03 UTC

Second, they aren't really socialist

2017-08-23 02:25:08 UTC

They claim to be

2017-08-23 02:25:18 UTC

s'a modified version of socialism

2017-08-23 02:25:19 UTC

And say shit like "Hitler's socialism wasn't marxist, it was much deeper"

2017-08-23 02:25:29 UTC

When in reality, it practically wasn't socialism

2017-08-23 02:25:34 UTC

S'a corporatist approac to it

2017-08-23 02:25:41 UTC

approach

2017-08-23 02:26:43 UTC

The state uses big (but limited) capital as a proxy to perform market control

2017-08-23 02:27:20 UTC

It's sort of a once removed form of socialism

2017-08-23 02:28:00 UTC

not to mention, in Hitler's version specifically, it was fervently ethno-nationalistic which gave it a particlar flavor

2017-08-23 02:28:25 UTC

Mussolini wasn't so hell bent on race

2017-08-23 02:28:53 UTC

Yeah

2017-08-23 02:29:20 UTC

@Apollo'sJest Hitler's socialism was much different from what normally is associated with socialism.

2017-08-23 02:29:40 UTC

Hitler did seem anti-capitalism

2017-08-23 02:29:41 UTC

But

2017-08-23 02:29:42 UTC

Yes. That was an Austrian painter, what about him?

2017-08-23 02:29:56 UTC
2017-08-23 02:29:57 UTC

(Accidentally pressed enter on my keyboard)

2017-08-23 02:30:09 UTC

@Deleted User I'd never contest that

2017-08-23 02:30:09 UTC

What was Hitler's socialism? @Deleted User

2017-08-23 02:30:26 UTC

Let me find the quote,

2017-08-23 02:30:58 UTC

Hitler was during the 20's when his movement was taking shape, but during the 30's he discarded it when he liked the extra benefits and power he could get from the already established big corporations.

2017-08-23 02:32:07 UTC

The problem with that sort of usage of quotes is that they are as much propaganda as they are statements about policy
