But

2017-07-31 18:03:50 UTC

Monarchy is so awesome, it can even make communism work after a fashion...

2017-07-31 18:03:51 UTC

Yeah Muslims are Muslims but don't seem set on wiping out whites and Christians, they've been to themselves for awhile. And yeah North Korea has only lasted so long because it's been propped up by the USSR and China, after the USSR collapsed North Korea went into a total state of disarray and that's when the famines started. Also the floods destroyed the crops and the Kim dynasty ordered the farmers to continue producing tobacco instead of food lol

2017-07-31 18:05:33 UTC

Savage are you a monarchist? I've only ever met one monarchist in real life, he's one of my best freinds though. He's a total romantic and also somewhat of a dork.

2017-07-31 18:05:50 UTC

Guilty on all counts

2017-07-31 18:06:09 UTC

Your avatar even wears a crown.

2017-07-31 18:06:23 UTC

I have somewhat of a hard on for it

2017-07-31 18:06:34 UTC

A gift from the good folks over at helicopter mom

2017-07-31 18:07:31 UTC

Monarchy is aight

2017-07-31 18:07:37 UTC

But ultimately I think a supreme ruler who is chosen based on ability rather than just blood is a much better choice. That said a monarchy lead by a family with the best interests of it's people can be a great set up.

2017-07-31 18:07:38 UTC

I like the aesthetics

2017-07-31 18:07:46 UTC

same

2017-07-31 18:08:58 UTC

Before hereditary primogeniture succession was made the Salic law standard, hereditary election was the Germanic standard

2017-07-31 18:09:37 UTC

That is, the king was elected from among known ancient bible bloodlines.

2017-07-31 18:09:45 UTC

*noble

2017-07-31 18:10:24 UTC

That is pretty awesome

2017-07-31 18:11:24 UTC

And even the Papal blessing on the bloodline of Charlemagne was that the Franks should always elect their king from this bloodline.

2017-07-31 18:13:11 UTC

I like the aesthetics of the Russian monarchy, and it's sad what happened to em

2017-07-31 18:13:37 UTC

What the fuck happened to the world though? Why is everyone afraid of a supreme leader? Why is a king or a dictator just so unimaginable to so many people? Christ do I hate liberal democracies...

2017-07-31 18:13:45 UTC

Amen

2017-07-31 18:14:14 UTC

Fuck the French Revolution

2017-07-31 18:14:33 UTC

you guys ever heard of the Holy Alliance?

2017-07-31 18:14:42 UTC

I have not.

2017-07-31 18:14:53 UTC

@Nathan TX it's interesting that both the Russian and Austrian claimants to Rome's legacy were murdered in that war...

2017-07-31 18:15:25 UTC

It was an alliance between Prussia, Austria, and Russia to counteract spreading liberalism caused by the French Revolution

2017-07-31 18:15:36 UTC

Holy Alliance between Austria Prussia and Russia against France and later Britain.

2017-07-31 18:15:41 UTC

Yeah

2017-07-31 18:15:46 UTC

Good Shit

2017-07-31 18:15:48 UTC

That's pretty sweet.

2017-07-31 18:16:15 UTC

I wish the alliance would have lasted into the 1900s

2017-07-31 18:16:18 UTC

It almost did

2017-07-31 18:16:58 UTC

The creation of the second reich blew it up

2017-07-31 18:17:44 UTC

It was going strong until Alexander the III allied with France

2017-07-31 18:17:51 UTC

Fuckin tard

2017-07-31 18:18:16 UTC

That's a good point

2017-07-31 18:18:27 UTC

The workings for ww1 were well in place 30 years in advance

2017-07-31 18:18:57 UTC

France suddenly cozing up to russia, the deliberate assassination of Czar Alexander II by socialist Jews.

2017-07-31 18:19:00 UTC

I still miss the significance of the Petrine revolution in Russia even though I listen to TON religiously

2017-07-31 18:19:35 UTC

Legit communist Jews assassinated Czar Alex II

2017-07-31 18:20:45 UTC

Czar Peter the Great was like a second French Revolution in Russia who prepared the way for the bolshies
