The only modern corporatist states are Syria, Iran, China, Singapore, and Russia.

2019-06-16 15:06:46 UTC

Lmao

2019-06-16 15:07:49 UTC

Russia is an oligarchy and China is state capitalism with a red flag

2019-06-16 15:08:02 UTC

It really refers to economies coordinated by guilds, cooperatives, unions or technocratic bureaus

2019-06-16 15:08:26 UTC

Too bad there's no unions in any of those countries

Ok can you explain corporatist economic theory? Given the radically different conclusions we’ve come to, *someone* is making an error.

2019-06-16 15:08:59 UTC

I mean corporatist literature uses the term mercantilism which is a type of State capitalism

2019-06-16 15:09:40 UTC

On this document I have a point called state corporatism that explains my position to corporatism

So capitalism with protectionism, nationalized banking, laws on hiring illegal immigrants, and some gun laws? I’m skimming through it because I’m going to church for fathers day, but none of this is significantly distinguished from capitalist production

2019-06-16 15:19:49 UTC

this guy still didn't leave eh

2019-06-16 15:20:25 UTC

No I didn’t

2019-06-16 15:20:47 UTC

2019-06-16 15:20:55 UTC
2019-06-16 15:24:45 UTC

No

2019-06-16 15:24:47 UTC

I haven't

2019-06-16 15:24:54 UTC

ok

2019-06-16 15:28:58 UTC

For the whole point is to have state-owned guilds that allows to State the centrally planned production and if the company doesn't listen they're simply nationalized at least that's how I formulated it

2019-06-16 15:29:41 UTC

Markets are constructed by a state anyways they don't exist outside of the state

2019-06-16 15:29:57 UTC

An issue I see here is that the accumulation of capital is still present in the economy and remains the goal of corporate entities, so it is subject to the same issues of capitalism (recessions, imperialism, depressions, etc)

2019-06-16 15:30:42 UTC

and you’re gonna eventually reach a point where every business is nationalized because businesses don’t care about people

2019-06-16 15:31:00 UTC

they seek profits

2019-06-16 15:31:00 UTC

lol

2019-06-16 15:31:21 UTC

I gtg

2019-06-16 15:33:57 UTC

With labor-backed currency you can actually make currency inflation proof so there's no such thing as a depression

2019-06-16 15:34:06 UTC

Imperialism is it necessarily A Bad Thing

2019-06-16 15:34:10 UTC

This is cringe, why even debate here? @☭ Anon ☭

2019-06-16 15:35:33 UTC

The feudal mode of production which is an economy coordinated by state-owned guilds like what I have. Marx’s term for it was feudal socialism as a smear.

2019-06-16 15:35:42 UTC

because I’m tired of the same old arguments from liberals

2019-06-16 15:35:53 UTC

Private property isn't a real thing either

2019-06-16 15:35:59 UTC

This won’t get anywhere but it’s something to do

2019-06-16 15:36:52 UTC

I’ll be back later
