What made you choose Unity over UE4

I have 20 years of C# experience and hate C++ with a passion. UE4 visual scripting is only usable for prototyping or small games

No you can actually create a entire game with just Blueprints in UE4. But okay i can understand why you chosen Unity

The performance sucks once your game gets to a certain size. I tried UE4 for about a year and a half before I switched

But UE4 has gotten very good at optimizing it self when you use Blueprints but it is also up to your self how you do your blueprints to keep your game optimized

I dont know if unity has something similar but UE4 has a build in profiler that you can see how mutch your game uses etc
