Creatine is great, noticable difference in strength if you are supplementing it correctly.
If you aren’t noticing after 6 weeks stop and see if there’s a drop off. If nothing changes up dose to 10g monohydrate
If nothing after 10g then you’re a non responder sadly
Does anyone here find Bcaa's to be effective?
For intraworkout I notice faster recovery from sets if I'm sipping some bcaas
But you can get the same benefit from sipping a protein shake during your workout

I have dropped 16 lbs over the last 8 weeks using something close to it (high fats, low carbs, med prot) but I was just winging it. I cranked out numbers last night and will be regimented in over the next three weeks.
@Deleted User I did keto for a few months, but for me it wasn't a super sustainable thing to do. I know a number of guys who have had great results from it, and it works great for cutting fat and water weight from what I've seen.

No, thank you. Im doing it for 4 weeks and alternate a fast in there. Just doing it to drop another 10 lbs. Im down 18 right now and want to finish strong.
I will transition out when I reach my goal weight. Just wanted some first hand experience if I could get it.
I've been looking to do some intermittent fasting. The data I've seen on HGH boosting from fasting has gained my attention recently, and I had a conversation with a doctor who studies IF as a means to treat numerous chronic conditions.
Also met a neurological chiropractor who had some incredible patient outcomes on utilizing ultrasonic vibrations to treat neuro conditions both physical and mental.
I met some patients who came with him, and their testimony was austonding.
As someone who works in memory care and assisted living I was floored with his results, and his work on technologically induced meditative states was equally fascinating.

You do feel good, you get a boost about 30hrs into the fast.

A little bit of the research. Unfortunately I'm not in a research position so most of my research is independent, and goes without much attention.
People apparently don't consult CNAs for resident nutrition, despite it being my job to analyse patients and provide insight into the care planm

From what I've seen however, it furthers my point that a proactive system of medicine and self-care is absolutely necessary.
Diabetes, Alzheimer's, cancer, and pretty much every other chronic illness is compounded hand over fist by poor diets and exercise.
Most residents in care homes are underfed, and underhydrated. I've had three residents in my homes have to go have limbs amputated due to infection. Infections which could have been slowed or even prevented with a decent diet.
It's really important that everyone in IE take their physical health seriously. There's the optics portion obvs., but being able to resist things like Alzheimer's, dementia, general immobility will make the difference between bankrupting your family due to medical costs, or being able to play with your grandkids well into your 80s.
The brain needs fats and we've been told to avoid them. We've replaced fats with sugar and high fructose corn syrup which is terrible for brain tissue.
This girl, as well as many others, has allegedly changed her eye color from brown to green/hazel through her diet. Some might call this pseudoscience, but I personally believe that adequate nutrition is necessary for genes to be fully expressed...I've noticed significant changes in the color, quality and vibrancy of my hair, skin and eyes when I consistently eat wholesome, natural foods. The conventional American diet of fast-food/junk-food/processed food is repressing our European genes from being fully manifested, turning us into dull, ugly versions of our ancestors.

My own eye color is weird. The outer rim of my eyes is blue, the majority of it is green, and the inner rim is brown.
I'd guess she has some European in her, but she's obviously something other than White
@peytonT There are plenty of white people who do eat trash but also have blue and green eyes. Yours might not turn brown, but it's likely that they would become dull-looking and much less vibrant.
@BigBadSaxon - ID I feel the same way about someone like Elliot Hulse, who is mixed-race but gives incredible advice on fitness and well-being. Folks like Mark Sisson and Jack Lalanne, however, are great White fitness gurus.
I will try this when Ive met my keto goals.
