@Caboose a person can eat 100% meat if they include organ meat into their diet. Organ meat is where the majority of micro nutrients are found.
When I harvest a game animal, I take the majority of organs. The heart is eaten first with butter, mushrooms, and onions.
I hope he was trolling, yeah.
Organ meats are great.

@Jonathan Y - NC I heard the showbizz deli has some mean chicken liver
I got a good deal on chicken, but I'm doing keto and it has barely any fat and I'm on keto. How do eat massive amounts of chicken without messing up my macros?
I've had luck avoiding gluconeogenesis (protein being turned into sugar in the event of excess protein being in the body, pushing you out of keto) by keeping my protein at less try han 1g/lbs of bodyweight.
Chicken is fine, just make sure you're hitting your fat and carb goals. Cover it in butter and salt or olive oil and salt for some fat and electrolytes
Also try going to bed before 3am. Haha
That's another issue I've been wanting to fix
But it looks like the chicken will be fine. Thanks.
How long should I intermittently fast for?
Is 8 hours enough? I could probably do less. Apparently some people do 12, lol. Isn't that just normal eating?
Eat within a 6-8 hour window.
Will 6 be much more effective than 8?
That's called going to sleep, nigga
I was taking about the period that I do eat
I guess they was my fault for stating wrongly
though I did also question what the point of a 12 hour fast is, because that literally just sounds like normal eating
@Jacob skip breakfast, eat lunch at noon, dinner at 5-6, a snack if you want it before 8 pm and then sleep.
Does anyone have good resources on keto as far as a scientific oriented studies/articles, the subject in mind is 55+. I have been on and off this diet for ~4 months and seen really great success, but I've just followed general guides on broscience/youtube videos and I'd prefer something a bit more substantial for him to review before considering the diet.
I think this is the right video, this lady is a M.D. and gives a well sourced defense of time restricted eating
Finally back in ketosis after last weekend's extreme cheat. Lesson learned. French fries maybe, coke definitely not.
Next cheat meal will probably be Defend the Rockies!
How long should I stay in keto for? I've already lost 16 pounds. Do I just stay until I'm satisfied with how much I've lost? Should I lose a bit more than I actually want to, since I'll probably gain some back? What do I do once I plateau?
It's really up to you, I mean
