you'll find once you get started, you'll be wanting to take layers off instead

2018-04-09 14:25:15 UTC

Ya I start every workout in 3 layers, hoodie over sweatshirt over shirt. Then sweats over shorts. After two warmups Iā€™m gtg. I walk to my gym tho

2018-04-09 21:02:38 UTC

White people run in the snow

2018-04-09 21:29:22 UTC

I'm just gonna binge watch Metapocalypse until it's changed

2018-04-10 00:22:10 UTC

Just found the whole series on Hulu

2018-04-10 00:22:52 UTC

You shouldn't need music if you're truly dedicated to gains...

2018-04-10 00:25:34 UTC

I'd rather not listen to people speaking Spanish while I'm listening @The Huwhyte Ulf - VA

2018-04-10 00:37:01 UTC

any cues to protect the low back on deadlifts? gets harder as I move up in weight

2018-04-10 00:43:32 UTC

@Pat-MA My motto is if you're feeling it in your back, you're not doing it right. Focus more on using your legs and keep your chest up

2018-04-10 00:44:01 UTC

but you definitely will feel it in your lower back to an extent though right?

2018-04-10 00:46:13 UTC

To an extent, yes, but I fix it by proper stretching prior and after the workout

2018-04-10 00:46:49 UTC

Focus on strengthening your lower back if you're having a lot of issues

2018-04-10 00:47:17 UTC

I feel it in my low back a good amount. It doesnt hurt or anything

2018-04-10 00:47:28 UTC

Also, try doing hex bar deadlifts if regular deadlifts are bothering you too much

2018-04-10 00:47:36 UTC

isnt that the same thing as a squat though

2018-04-10 00:56:01 UTC

Benedikt Magnusson told us at a seminar to lean back like you're almost falling backwards, then pull

2018-04-10 00:56:09 UTC

It saves strain on the back

2018-04-10 00:56:38 UTC

Unless you're doing sumo, in which case only God can help you

2018-04-10 00:57:10 UTC

Not really, IMO. @Pat-MA

2018-04-10 00:59:19 UTC

Appreciate it boys

2018-04-11 12:54:54 UTC

Hex bar I feel in my glutes like a mofo. I work up to 4 sets of 5 then halve the plate number and go for 20

2018-04-15 18:37:49 UTC

Last night I had my first workout on my new home gym. It was magical. I did squats, bench press, deadlift, and overhead press.

2018-04-15 21:40:18 UTC

All of the essentials^

2018-04-15 22:38:12 UTC

@ThisIsChris awesome bro. I'll add you to the list of guys I'm jealous of haha

2018-04-16 14:52:36 UTC

@ThisIsChris Nice. I'm jealous of the home gym as well. One day I'll be as cool as you. šŸ‹

@Deleted User Narrow foot placement too, that makes it even more impressive!

2018-04-20 01:28:56 UTC

the deadlift isn't the impressive part for him at all

2018-04-20 01:29:15 UTC

this lad deadlifts 880 btb

2018-04-20 02:00:06 UTC

I swear the hardest part about deadlifting heavy isn't the actual lift, but getting all those damn plates off after you're already exhausted.

2018-04-20 02:18:43 UTC

tbh^

2018-04-20 02:18:58 UTC

half the workout is always loading the bar
