Lifting and MMA is therapeutic

2018-09-04 01:53:52 UTC

I'm so glad I've found these things lol

2018-09-04 01:56:18 UTC

I really need to pick up BJJ here

2018-09-04 01:56:33 UTC

Did some very mock fighting during the warrior dash and I want to get into it

2018-09-04 01:57:32 UTC

All I do is spar with IE folks and practice on my heavy bag

2018-09-04 01:59:00 UTC

I'm not huge on bjj but I know @Deleted User knows a thing or two

2018-09-04 02:00:12 UTC

Oh yeah, I wrestled around with the old man this summer

2018-09-04 02:00:19 UTC

And he kicked my ass pretty solidly

Who has some experience with massage balls/rollers? I’ve gotten to where my back and shoulder muscles stay so tense they’re almost always sore. I have curvature of the spine from a moto accident from when I was younger so that doesn’t help but I thought I might try one of these balls or rollers.

2018-09-04 02:58:19 UTC

I do, but tbh it'd be very difficult to explain not in person

2018-09-04 03:14:21 UTC

So you think they work? Is it something I could learn to use properly from YouTube or something

2018-09-04 03:27:56 UTC

I've used them and got some relief

2018-09-04 04:11:52 UTC

I think I’ll pick one up tomorrow and see how it goes.

2018-09-04 11:30:08 UTC

@Suomi Stronk You + BJJ = deadly.

2018-09-04 14:12:56 UTC

@JesseJames They can be very helpful but it has to be a consistent habit to have any real relief.

2018-09-04 20:17:13 UTC

Crush it, brother! @Robtheroman

2018-09-05 00:00:42 UTC

@JesseJames Foam rolling is clutch. I do not think I would be able to function without it. Remember that the tightness you feel can be stemming from other parts of the body, so roll out as much as you can. For example my lower back gets tight if I don't keep my hips loose

2018-09-05 15:13:46 UTC

@Robtheroman payment processor good to go? Lol I think i still have three shirts in my cart.

2018-09-05 15:56:37 UTC

Dude, nice! Very happy to see you back up. Looks like I need to make another order soon.

@Deleted User I was at the park today doing my routine, and two Asian guys showed up and started doing like 100 pull-ups each

2018-09-06 22:40:18 UTC

Wiry little feckers, those Asians.

2018-09-07 00:30:18 UTC

Haha. Were they big? Or lean

2018-09-07 00:36:01 UTC

Asians are natural ninjas

2018-09-07 01:35:25 UTC

100 pull-ups = skipped leg day

2018-09-07 03:52:37 UTC

Iron path is useful for olympic lifters and any kind of weight training, pretty neat stuff. Free version only lets you keep 3 videos at a time, though.

2018-09-07 03:55:57 UTC

---> it tracks the path of your bar from a side view.

2018-09-07 22:47:48 UTC

@Pat-MA They ere 5'2 skinny af. They were explosive pulls, too. It was like being at the circus

2018-09-07 22:50:09 UTC

explosive pulls are easy, those mofos have no bodyweight and momentum was helping them. damn manlets showing us up

2018-09-07 23:00:45 UTC

Extra power in the gym

2018-09-07 23:22:17 UTC

@Rogue No kipping explosive pulls

2018-09-07 23:22:27 UTC

They didn't kip at all

2018-09-07 23:24:15 UTC

Did they lock out their arms?

2018-09-07 23:24:20 UTC

😎

2018-09-07 23:44:22 UTC

Bro, idfk, it was pretty impressive even if the form wasn't strict

2018-09-07 23:48:42 UTC

Yeah but did they engage their hips?

2018-09-07 23:48:55 UTC

just kidding bruv, wish I could knock out that many

2018-09-07 23:49:19 UTC

I knew some kids in high school that did cross country, were thin and short, could knock out 40+ pull-ups with ease

2018-09-08 02:38:41 UTC

It was weird man. They did 20 pullups, then did a set of 10 pushups on the raised bar, then did 20 more
