Did 3x4 archer pull-ups for the first time yesterday
@Fox It's part of the muscle up progression https://www.bodybuilding.com/images/2016/september/scott-mathisons-functional-muscle-back-workout-archer-pull-up.jpg
I'm so disappointed in myself today. Had all the time in the world to go lift, but I let myself get too comfortable and next thing I know it's night time
I'm at the point I'm going to just make a set schedule to go by and will follow it without excuse
I mean
how bad do you want it?
Unfortunately, a hectic work life added with school has left me without a lot of energy in what little free time I do have. But that's no excuse, and it's just a mental barrier I have to get over.
I'm just happy I'm back to eating clean again
Feels so much better
eh I wouldn't sweat it too much
recovery is almost more important than the actual lifting itself
Funny enough, working out tends to be my stress reliever, so I'm almost more uptight with the days of I've had
Lifting and MMA is therapeutic
I'm so glad I've found these things lol
I really need to pick up BJJ here
Did some very mock fighting during the warrior dash and I want to get into it
All I do is spar with IE folks and practice on my heavy bag
Oh yeah, I wrestled around with the old man this summer
And he kicked my ass pretty solidly
Who has some experience with massage balls/rollers? I’ve gotten to where my back and shoulder muscles stay so tense they’re almost always sore. I have curvature of the spine from a moto accident from when I was younger so that doesn’t help but I thought I might try one of these balls or rollers.
I do, but tbh it'd be very difficult to explain not in person
So you think they work? Is it something I could learn to use properly from YouTube or something
I've used them and got some relief
I think I’ll pick one up tomorrow and see how it goes.
@Suomi Stronk You + BJJ = deadly.
@JesseJames They can be very helpful but it has to be a consistent habit to have any real relief.
Crush it, brother! @Robtheroman
@JesseJames Foam rolling is clutch. I do not think I would be able to function without it. Remember that the tightness you feel can be stemming from other parts of the body, so roll out as much as you can. For example my lower back gets tight if I don't keep my hips loose
@Robtheroman payment processor good to go? Lol I think i still have three shirts in my cart.
Dude, nice! Very happy to see you back up. Looks like I need to make another order soon.
anyone else follow professional bodybuilding?
Ty
@Deleted User I was at the park today doing my routine, and two Asian guys showed up and started doing like 100 pull-ups each
Wiry little feckers, those Asians.
Haha. Were they big? Or lean
Asians are natural ninjas
100 pull-ups = skipped leg day
